Happy to see you back. I completely understand how you feel. I lost my 14 year old dog last week. We were together everyday since he was 7 weeks old and it was the hardest day of my life. The house instantly feels so empty and quiet. Your new pup looks like a good way to distract your mind.

Andrea, I can imagine how you feel. I had a pet dog and a bunny and it hurt so much when they passed away. It broke my heart to hear about Chicco, bu I’m happy that you adopted a dog. I wish you, ken and your Mother lots of happiness with your new pet. 💕

Always have fond memories of your Amsterdam and you rolling up your living room rug and leaving it in storage at your friend’s place. I cannot believe that someone would return that beautiful puppy. What a beautiful creature. What kind of dog is Brew? Love to see more videos of the dog. I am darn sure before long your Mom will really be attached to that puppy too. Bless you and Ken for taking in this dog. Maybe you should give him a raw hide bone or some toy to chew on instead of your legs and arms. All the best and so happy you are back. Happy too that you are in OR and I so respect you for your profession especially after myself having 22 surgeries and your dedication is so appreciated. I’m so sorry about the loss of Chico! Our senior pup was also diagnosed with an illness last Christmas (chronic liver failure) and seemed to be doing alright until he wasn’t, so your story really resonated. We lost him on September 15th and our hearts are broken. I really understand that silent house thing you mentioned. I hope that soon after Christmas I will feel ready to start looking around for a new fur baby. So glad to see you back on KZbin! You were missed!

I wanted to say sorry again for Chico it takes a while for the hurt to go away, our doggie has been gone now for 6 years we had him for 14 years now, it was kind of the same situation that your new puppy had we rescued him and he brought our family so much joy including my parents, but never easy having to say goodbye. My heart goes out to you. No matter how many pets we have, it will always be so hard when we have to part. A few years back, we lost our little Pekingese, Emma, to breast cancer and it has metastasized all throughout her body, so there wasn't anything we could really do, except make her comfortable until the time came to help her along. A thought I found was comforting, was that we gave her a loving home where she was comfortable and pampered for her life and our hope is that she felt all of that while she was with us. 🤍🤍🤍
