shes been fighting at strawweight (125lbs) since signing contract at age 17 with height 170cm. now at 19 shes become taller at 178cm. its hell to cut weight to 125lb at 178cm. hopefully there is a new division which is flyweight (135lb) soon

I saw this coming. It was pretty obvious she was still growing in the last few years. I think some good challenges are comling for her. Smilla, at 5’10” now, would be sacrificing strength and endurance, if she tries to remain a strawweight. She’s dedicated, and if she could not make weight last week, then she should look forward to a flyweight career. She won’t lose her fanbase.

I feel sorry for her , especially when the likes of Jon Jones cheated for years. She speaks English in a Thai accent rather than a Swedish English accent. She is good enough to be champ at a higher weight , this probably did her a favour , you will eventually drain yourself and do harm if you keep cutting weight when your body is naturally growing, especially at this age , reality her trainers should be training her for the next weight class to keep her healthy , she will probably feel stronger at the weight

She's obviously talented and seems like a nice girl but to be fair whenever I see her fight she looks like a whole weight class above any girl in the division she's fighting in, the height is one thing but the weight is massive, you put a girl in there with her like Allycia Rodriguez who's just as skilled, her height will let give her the advantage on the outside and her weight will give her the advantage in the clinch, it's too much.
