To fight like Ben Whittaker you must have quick reflexes, flexibility and balance. I wish him great success.

Yeah fights definitely more like RJJ than anyone else - he just needs to put more power in his shots in these early fights to get more stoppages. RJ went to more points wins later in his career (up to and including Ruiz) but early on he was knocking people out.

Prince Hamed also looked 'cute' against ordinary fighters till he came up against the only (future) Hall of Fame fighter that he ever fought - Barrera, who was coming up from a lower weight division and whipped Hamed's backside and effectively retired him at age 28 ... an age when most great fighters are just reaching their peak.

@anslemslove52156 ай бұрын
Lots of people (not you) gave poor excuses for Naz. He had no business going into that fight with Barrera with bad hands, poor training, weight problems etc., considering that it was by far the most important & highest paying (guaranteed $6 million + more) fight of his career. Barrera was coming up in weight from Super Bantam to Featherweight for the first time & was a 1-3 underdog. I enjoyed the ass-whooping that Naz got that eventually retired him at a young age.
