@@christianmelgar7878 From the ones I have watched, YaBoyRoshi & Sheera & Lupa were the most sympathetic to his character in that they understood that he was trying to survive, but at this point no one could understand why he murdered a dying woman. It looks completely unnecessary so it comes across as just evil. Remember, they don’t hear his reasoning until the next episode.

This was her first acting role too and she did an amazing job, she’s a model. also his brother when he shot him in the shoulder, he isn’t dead, he fell back into the water, but I have a feeling he isn’t dead in season 2. Also if you notice everyone who died, died the way they showed them in the beginning. Shits crazy.

The Spanish dub is amazing! They put a lot of effort into dubs in Mexico 🇲🇽. It really seemed like it was their real voice because they put so much effort into lip sync and casting.

I think this show made so many cry because of how connected they were to the characters. Other shows don't give their characters enough..character? Their personalities are usually really bland or unlikable. Here, they give each person a very unique personality. You FEEL for them.

They also do a great job of creating sympathy for supporting and minor characters - for example the guy in episode 7 who wants to take the number 1 slot because he's lived his whole life as a coward and wants to take charge for once. We never learn his name and he dies pretty quickly, but the actor does a great job creating sympathy for him even as an "extra".

That’s the sort of rationalization Sang-woo would employ. She was barely coherent from blood loss, homegirl had one foot on a banana peel and the other in the grave. She couldn’t have made the distance to the button even if she could’ve held on long enough for a vote request to be honored. Frankly, the show makes it clear where it stands regarding Sang-woo and other players who rationalize cruelty, backstabbing, and murder for self preservation: they suck lol.

Does everyone here thinks Sang Woo was bad for killing Sae Byeok? I guess he was, but think about what would've happen if he didn't kill her, if Gi Hun killed Sang Woo. Not only Sea Byeok would've died of loss of blood, Gi Hun would've feel guilty for him killing someone and he would've end up in an even worse place at the last episode.

Sang Woo is the embodiment of someone from the bottom of the class pyramid trying to climb the ranks by playing the game of those on top, in society and in the game. Squid Game isn't all that subtle when it comes to what its hidden message is.
