HEARTBREAKER! Losing the $40,000 Bass That Got Away (Lake Fork Tournament)

This was my second ever bass fishing tournament, and I had an absolutely crazy day on the water at the Legend of Lake Fork event. I ended up taking 2nd and 4th place to win $600, but I easily could have won much more if I had landed a couple of true GIANTS and didnt let a great “under” go.
Early in the day, I hooked into an under that most likely would have placed in the tournament. I got too excited and pulled it into the boat too quickly, and my frog came flying back and the fish flew right back into the water!
Later on, I had another huge bass absolutely demolish my frog, but it ended up burying me in the thick grass and broke me off. You'll see the crazy footage of me losing this potential $40,000 fish that could have won the whole tournament. I was absolutely HEARTBROKEN to lose not one but TWO potential fish that would have paid out.
Still, I'm proud of my 2nd and 4th place finishes with a couple of solid 2lb "unders" that allowed me to cash a $600 check. You'll get to follow along for all the action, big hits, and missed opportunities during my most INSANE tournament day yet.
