This was actually heartbreaking.. sheesh.. So glad they made it through and it shows how strong they are and that success isn't just sunshine but it brings its own set of issues.

Armys have heard them individually and randomly talk about how scary it was getting more attention from the world. Then there were so many things in addition that they/we were up against that year plus an incredibly exhausting tour. Imagine how you’ll feel in a year after you’ve watched all of the movies, bon voyage, run, their lives, etc.

The height of BTS RocknRoll era. Kills me every time. JHope crying is hard enough but then Jin and RM quietly in the back. Heartbreaking. This will never not make me cry, too. BUT then JoongKi at the end hehe It's the first time I realized who he is. OMG. Thank you for this because I never realized who he was. Very well said.. I agree with you. Just seeing these 7 amazing people that mostly smile and laugh, cry really hits you in the feels but im so proud of them. They're amazing and thank you for your comment. I have seen a couple.. I will check Vincenzo out! looks pretty fun actually. My favorite kdrama is the one where she gets stuck in north korea, i forgot the name but it's new and on netflix

Taehyung having breakdown He's keep crying after living stage, back stage and during interview and even after changing clothes... That's first time we saw him crying like this... He's a cheerful person like our hobi. And both not crying normally in any condition When these 2 crying it's not easy for us to handle it

As someone who been with them since 2013 just seeing them achieving all these amazing achievements makes me super proud of them many times when life gets hard I always remember em what they been through and where they are now they deserve the whole world their music really helped me alot I'm so thankful to em for sharing their amazing work with us and I wish them nothing but happiness and joy 💜💜💜

Thanks for reaction. I cried than and I cry now. My heart hurts every time...as I come back to MAMA 2018. Jin's speech... Shocked me and the tears flowed... disbanding...BTS... why...impossible... what was happening? why WE did not know? why We did not notice? the joy of the reward was more and more bitter.... tears JK, Jimin, strange laugh RM and Jin and desperation V... I couldn't believe what Jin was saying.... I was terribly upset, with the fact, that We couldn't helpThem with anything... So.. Since than.... I support, admire, love and respect BTS even more. This is really hard for me to watch. 2018 was the year I became ARMY and when I read in the subs the word "disbanded" I immediately started bawling my eyes out. Just the thought of where I might've been if the had disbanded scared me in that moment. It's a kinda selfish thought tbh but that's what went through my mind at first. That's how much they meant to me after maybe 3-4 months of me being their fan. And it hurt me so much to see them like that... it was a variety of emotions from scared to sad to ultimately happy to have them in my life

I have watched this so many times, starting with when it happened…And yet, every single time, even though I know it will happen, every time Hobi’s pretty face crumples, so does mine (less prettily)…and I don’t stop bawling, oh probably for a good half hour after it is finished. I cannot stand to see any of BTS cry, but Hobi is particularly difficult. And that year, that award, they needed that validation, that reassurance that they were on the right path, and deeply loved by all of us. No one breaks my heart like BTS. Whoever marries Hobi will have to be made of much sterner stuff than me - I could never refuse him anything, and if his eyes filled with tears, I would give him the world, the moon, the stars - anything to take that shadow from him 😢💔💜 Yet he is not my bias 🤷‍♂️

You should check out the whole performance they did including the intros and vcr for mama 2018 hk. The vcr, intro orul82 + idol where they intensely sing "I'm so sick of fake love" then IDOL.. one of the best idol performances they did in my opinion! It's impactful!!

I'm so glad you reacted to this, Shiki, even though it's difficult to watch (the original video, I mean, not your reaction of it! :). I flat out sobbed the first time I watched it, and it makes me tear up every time I watch a reaction to it! I didn't become an ARMY until 2020 so I'm just so thankful they stayed together, not just for my own selfish reason of being happy to get to know them, but for all of the other people they've helped and made happy as well! They're a truly special group. Thanks for your great reaction as always!

The disbandment of their group... it’s even scary to think about it. Jimin behaved with dignity, but at the end he was also brought to tears. Jungkook, Hoseok and Jin were very emotional, and Taehyung was hit the hardest❤😢

Thank you so much for reacting to this. The first time I saw this video I was super emotional. You can all see the sincerity in each of the members and it was heartbreaking to know that while they were inspiring so many people, they were going through a lot. But so glad that they did not disband because BTS literally saved me even though I found them later than majority of ARMY. I only got to know them in 2021 and I've never been happier. Beautiful reaction, as always! Thank you.

I have watched this countless of times, but I got the same effect everytime! Such an emotional and heartbreaking moment, still bawling my eyes out 😭😭😭 I am glad they've stayed, stronger than ever.. This just proved that they love their fans so much, the strong bond between them and Army is so powerful. And I also love the fact they will always be there for each other, having each other's back. Together they will fall, together they will rise.. I just love them. 💜😭

That year (2018) is when their career took off to the new height but also when they are really exhausted physically and mentally And i always notice RM only gives speeches for awards like best male group etc but always asked other members to give speeches for deasang (grand prize ; album/artist/song of the year)

This is for Baby Army's, if your parents are against you for loving BTS, here is a tip I used for my parents... I showed my mother UN speech after one month of falling in love with them at that time my mom knows nothing about them. As soon as I showed this she was like "wow tell me his name, he is my bias"... I felt very happy and said He is KIM NAMJOON of BTS proudly... This is also a message of SPEAK YOURSELF hope it helps some of you....

Yeah, I cried too while watching this at the first time and maybe still gets a bit emotional. But later on when I checked, they received like 9+ awards in this single award show ie MAMA 2018 @hongkong . And came to know that they were artist of the year for a row since 2016, that fact helped me ease the pain. Instead I became proud of them.

And more to add to this heartbreak is that, I am not sure but I have seen in some videos that when BTS won Artist of the Year in 2017, many other fandoms filed petitions against MAMA saying that BTS don't deserve it. They submitted something to the President of South Korea signed by some 5000 people which apparently was disregarded because the official data from MAMA clearly showed why BTS were awarded. I don't know how I would have survived if I was an Army back then. The amount of hate that BTS got was immeasurable. They suffered a lot. I can't imagine seeing them suffer. But at the same time I should really thank the armies back then because they really supported the boys. They were the reason BTS could overcome all the problems that they faced at that time. Proud of armies and proud of the boys for their strong will and hard work. We love you guys.. ❤️❤️

They have been my life-line when my mother-in-law was dying from cancer. I needed an outlet for my emotions as I took care of her. They found me four months after her diagnosis. It was right before the holidays. They really do enter your life with the music you need to hear the most.
