i literally cried when she said that every night for a year or two she would read the medical files to see if there was something different that could have been done so that he could be saved. She loved him truly and sounds like he also loved her as much its really heartbreaking for the family. Irrfan was a wonderful actor, i saw him in life of pi, Jurassic world and so many countless movies. His personality was also brilliant saw his interview on the kapil show also his sense of humor was awesome such a wonderful person RIP

Sutapa, you did nothing WRONG! The truth is it's hard to beat cancer. Steve Jobs also had a neuro-endocrine tumor in his Pancreas. One can do everything right, but cancer has a way of coming back abruptly and very largely. Please honour your husband by living your best life. That's what he would want to see from wherever he is. I know how hard it was on you to care for him 24/7. I did the same with my mother for over 13 years. Only someone who has gone through it can understand the depth of the condition YOU were in and how it took a toll on you. But you do it because you love your loved one so much.
