TIM! You have to check out Rachel & the Treeschoolers! They have a lot of educational stuff through songs. AND they rhyme. They do sign language and when my kid was just itty bitty, we both learned simple sign language through them. She was communicating with sign language before she could fully speak.

16:54 I truly despise that this “hustle culture” world has gotten to this point 😭 where we’re taking pharmaceutical grade methamphetamine to freakin WORK! Like what the actual f- people. It’s scary forreal. I have EXTREME “ADHD.” That actually affects my daily life lolol I’ll give a couple crazy examples in a minute 😅 and I put it in quotations because idk if it’s even a true or real diagnosable thing/condition . Some people just have different personalities! I cannot tell you how many boyfriends.. or family members/friends have called me “a little ball of energy” or nicknamed me the energizer bunny 🤣💀 my grandma just called me one the other night when we went out to dinner! And she sees me all the damn time lmao. She knows this already. But I REFUSE to be medicated for it. It’s absolutely ridiculous that you-know-who’s (can’t say the word) are put on this stuff in school because they’re bouncing off the walls. They’re just energetic! Not something to be prescribed literalmeth for. Anyways.. back to how it greatly effects my everyday life lmaooo. (And still I refuse to be medicated 🙃) So.. I have a reverse osmosis faucet right? And when I fill up a cup of water, it kinda takes a minute! So if I’m like.. chopping veggies or something, I’ll set it there while it fills up, turn to the counter to chop, then grab it when it’s full. Well.. I ALWAYS get distracted by something and it ends up overflowing all over the counter! So much so, that I’ve told myself I cannot leave it filling and I HAVE to stand there for the 10 seconds it takes to fill up.. without turning/walking away from it. Well.. I’m impatient AFFF with this thing and NEED to be doing something so I often break my promise to myself to stand there so it can fill up 🤣 So this one night.. I put the cup there, see my plants at the corner of my eye.. say out loud, “oh shit! They need water!” And walk over to pour some water in the pots. THEN. 👏 I. 👏 GO. 👏 TO. 👏 BED. 👏 DAMMITTTTT!!!! Hahahaha. Thank GOD about 10 or so minutes later, I think about something else I need to do and I step out of my bedroom TO ABOUT AN INCH OF WATER THROUGHOUT MY FORER, LIVINGROOM, KITCHEN AND FAMILY ROOM! And what do I do? Remember that I left the cup? NO! Lmaooo. I start sprinting all over the damn house trying to find where this mysterious “leak” is coming from 🙄 it felt like an eternity.. but I think it took about five mins OF WATER STILL RUNNING I MIGHT ADD!!! 😩 I had to open all the cabinets in my house and kitchen and leave fans blowing air because water had literally gone everywhere.. it was horrible. Again, REALLY made the promise to myself to never even turn my back on the damn thing while it filled up 💀 and when I tell you.. this happened not once again.. not twice again.. BUT PROBABLY 3+ TIMES AGAIN WHERE I FLOODED MY HOUSE 😭 so yeah.. lmaoooo. Pretty sure I’d be a perfect candidate for these meds because this is just a tiny peak into my life and how “ADD/ADHD” affects me everyday. I have millions of other stories like this or what going through school (and eventually dropping out tbh..) was like for me. Still. I refuse to be a slave to the pharm companies. Just makes me sad that others don’t have that same perspective 😔 it’s how they’ve gotten away with LITERALLY taking over the fkn whole entire world. I also think that ADHD might just be a symptom or side effect of other things.. sometimes even things CAUSED by the pharm companies lolol. I won’t get too “conspiratorial” but there’s no doubt in my mind that some of my beliefs aren’t theories at all.. they’re l just cold hard facts.. so I don’t trust em! I’ll never trust em. And I’ve done a helllllllluva lot more for my mental health NATURALLY than pharm companies ever could. Cause believe me, I’ve tried 🙃 Okay I’m done now. I’m sure nobody will ever read this 🤣 but it’s cathartic to rant it out in the comments sometimes lolol
@Riverofhaven2 жыл бұрын
Tim!!! I hope you read this comment. If Ritalin/Adderall/Vyvanse don’t work for you it may be the type of medication. These are stimulants. For me they never worked and changed the way I felt. Years later I tried Concerta and it’s like crack (in the best way) I can focus and still be my goofy ass self !

Tim, you should put up a poll on weather we think you are on your medicine or not. Do this after each episode if you do get diagnosed with ADHD. Then randomly take the meds without telling anyone when you did. Then we can see if people really notice a difference.
