I very much enjoyed the Bible Study you have presented. I just have a statement to make that the ESV used in Chapter 2 of Matthew Verse 11. They had Incense instead of Frankincense, but I guess not every Bible translates in the same manner. See you in the next chapter of the Bible Study.🙏🏽💞

Much like you , Kanoe , my 2 boys said their FAVORITE PLACE they lived growing up was our single wide trailer in Madison Heights , Virginia ( this would have been in the 90s ) ( a very small and quiet trailer park , beside my parents Tire Store , Called BUDDYs Trailer Court ) and the truth is that I LOVED it there , too ♥️ ( it was a very simple and sweet place ) and Dear Kanoe : I absolutely DO NOT take Any offense to what you stated ; Thank you Kanoe for always teaching us in simpler and easier ways for us to understand ; and my boys ALWAYS LOVED it there and the truth is : that I loved living there too ♥️♥️♥️

Okay, I've been silent until today. When you preface, "Don't get mad at me," maybe you better not say it. I live in a trailer park today. I am grateful that Jesus was born in stable, lived a meek life, and had no bed to rest in his last three years. My poverty is not shameful because Jesus, lived in poverty, as well. Just saying....

I say it because I realize there are some things that people will take offense to just based on the context alone, and my ask is that they will be open enough to hear it without immediately shutting down, becoming defensive, and failing to miss the greater message. I lived in poverty for much of my life and I am not ashamed of that. My parents still live in a mobile home community, and it is a wonderful place. We absolutely love it. But there are stereotypes, and I was trying to get people to understand what this terminology was like in this day according to people’s biases. It wasn’t a personal attack on poverty, and I sincerely apologize if it came off that way.

If the wise men were truly wise they couldn’t have been astrologers. It’s a doctrine from the enemy that gives us identity in wordly things and not our identity in God. I can’t imagine they would have been led to Jesus and truth using that modality.

I cannot say this prayer with you. There's more to salvation than saying this prayer. There's baptism.

The prayer is meant as a guide for those who would like to give their life to Jesus, but may not have any idea what to say or anyone around them who is able to pray with them. It provides them that opportunity to not wait another moment without our Lord. Yes, baptism is an important step and one that our Savior also followed, and an outward expression of the inward decision we have made in our hearts. Baptism does not always happen at the same moment for instance Paul told the jailer to believe in the Lord Jesus (Acts 16:30-31), and the thief on the cross never was baptized but Jesus proclaimed him saved.
