Great video Lyn 😊 These are definitely more my type of Opuntias rather than the ones with huge pads, very cool looking. This reminds me I have to repot a couple of my Opuntias as well. Thank you for sharing with us as always Lyn, from Edith & myself to you and Hans, be safe and well and have a lovely evening 😊❤️🌵☀️🌼🌺🌸🏜

How did you cut it? It grows wild right down the alleyway from my girlfriend's house. Im not sure how to cut it? I did pick up a piece that was broke off by someone but the base looks a little black and white like it's fungus or something? I was thinking of cutting it back to where it's green, but then do I plant right away or do I have to wait for it to scar over?? Thank you!!

I love the Austrocylindropuntia. Yours looks really strong and healthy. I have a little cutting that I brought back from the South of France last summer. It was about three inches at the time and has doubled in length over the year. It's also called "Eve's Needle", isn't it? Anyway, it's an interesting plant and if anybody will manage to get this to bloom it's you, Lyn! Cactus Power and lots of love and sunshine from the East Coast! : - )
