From October of 1955 to November 1956 Yours Truly Johnny Dollar began a new format. Instead of 30 minutes once a week it moved to 15-minute episodes each weeknight. As a young teen I'd listen to the Dr. Demento Show on Q107 Toronto on Sunday nights. It included one of these old time radio serials. I've been hooked on them ever since. Johnny Dollar is one of my favorites.

Yes I believe it is. McNear was in quite a few radio shows. His most popular role on radio was probably Doc in Gunsmoke!

Great show only wish the characters were identified by the actors names cause even though some times I can voice to actor ie Howard McNear alot of times I'm at a loss who portrayed whom ? Even after their names are mentioned at the end of the episodes ⁉️ Still appreciate your work Thank's ever so MUCH
