Classic Arena reminds me of TotalBiscuit. Rarran should do a video about this guy, the Lord of the Arena, the Lord of the Gimmicks, the gimmicks in particular are so up his alley that it's a wonder Rarran hasn't yet. If you want some more fun Classic Arena or gimmick experiences, I recommend looking up his videos. Rest in peace TB, know that your love of gimmicks still lives on through many others.

This game just showed how relevant large stats and divine shields are in old school arena. I really preferred when this was the game even when it was frustrating as hell. Spells should summon more minions not board clear 🙏

It's shameful, really. He stole it, claimed it was his software, and didn't credit the maker. It's crazy how low youtubers will stoop nowadays for content and clout. It really is incredible to watch you and others do these challenges and the expansion series with old cards where the board mattered and board wipes were hard to play and at a premium. Like thinking through plays and prebumping is so crazy compared to every class having premium card draw, cheap board wipes, full board wipes, insane spot removal and even minion theft effects for every class in standard.

I feel that, especially in the early years where there weren't very many other ways to break the game. This feels a bit too much like Play Mode (as it was called back then) but with 2 people who don't know how to build decks.

The style of editing feels very different on this one, the "fading" to different points and focusing on the board with the audio commentary on top are not things I remember seeing in another video. Personally, I really like it! (The screen being "thrown" at the end was a bit much for me tho) Great video as always, I really really enjoy this new Custom Arena series.

In arena, Toshley was WAYYYYY better than Loatheb. It wasn’t even close. The 5/7 stat line for 6 mana was kinda nuts at the time and the spare parts, particularly the freeze, taunt, and bounce back to hand spare parts seriously just won games. Loatheb most of the time in arena was a downgraded Stranglethorn Tiger with a pretty orange gem on it. Occasionally every card has a crazy use case and there were definitely worse legendaries but Loatheb was not really it in arena, certainly not back then.

The constant zooming in and out, swapping screens, or the slow zoom in to a single card being played or a card interaction just makes it harder follow what's going on. It can be a bit jarring, sometimes less is more ❤

Actually in arena you can get 2+ copies of same legendary in one deck. I've got them once. Was intrigued that you had 2 Dr.Booms in same deck and you have some hack to play this deck with friend. Also got 4 copies of same common one day. Too bad Blizzard doesn't allow to play on some test server with true unchanged cards and rules from ranked/arena 2014 with same random pool. I hope at least for streamers they can give access.

What's up with the editing on this one? It has a really weird vibe. Edit: I think it's the zooming in on cards and the cameras and the fade transitions, but I'm not really sure. How do you even get to be in the pro teams or whatever, I used to play in top 5 of europe with a faulty internet, no one ever approached me, I lost around 1/15 games due to faulty internet connection and I ruled the european ladder during the times these cards were still played.
