He was playing the dungeon run which had the effect of double deathrattle in his game. Since Val'Anyr is a deathrattle weapon that gives 4'2 to minions when destroyed and is re-equipped when they die, you wear two Val'Anyrs when the minion dies. Since you can't wear two weapons, the second Val'Anyr buffs another minion immediately, making infinite value of the minion dies.
