I've been giving Trump a hard time lately due to his bad play, but he got me back with this video. Its foolish of me to think Trump should have these decks mastered week 1... Trump has found a very strong paladin deck. Even Thijs says he's having a hard time making pally work, but Trumps got it down pat.

I dont even play Hearthstone anymore, watch streams whenever i have time. but i still watch Trump's videos xD He always explains, his plan, strategy, what can happen and everything. I thought Blizz's idea of Goons being a kind of "Know when to hold 'em" cards was a bluff, but the flexibility of choosing between value and tempo is surprisingly cool, especially in Paladin.

that deck is just too dirty. i love it. i built a pseudo buffadin deck (because im noob and dont have a lot of cards, but do have dopplegangster and a few buff cards) and so far it's just dirty and a lot of fun

i feel that if you lack an ideal start you get run over by aggro to easily. also drawing into only one or two buffs early means you have(usually) a bunch of average stat minions. i think it does well in slow matchups because you just generate immense value and crush them. but even other midrange decks are hard to compete with.

So I don't have the cards to play this deck, but can someone inform me whether Nerubian Egg could be a pick over the Bruisers? Argent Horserider proved to be a nutty pick because it was a fast card after AoE, which this deck needs, and because with just one buff it can be comboed with Keeper to kill any card after a board clear. Egg is the same, but comes with the additional bonus that if it's buffed with Smuggler's Run or Outfitter then it just completely crushes Pirate Warrior. I presume that's why the Bruisers were added for more Taunts, but the egg has some extra use. Also, I'm bad at the game so to me Trump looks like he's making the right play all of the time. Keep up the good work!

I'd play the first version of your deck, but drop the Keepers and Fight Promoters for Mistresses of Mixtures and Small Time Recruits. You easily beat the Reno decks anyway, so I think it's better to hedge your game against Scum Warrior and other similar SMOrc decks.

I run a fairly similar list and found myself frequently tempted to add cold light seer after getting run over by Hunter tokens, and Early Aggro. How good of an idea is Coldlight Seer?

Paladin seems to be the only class that got enough buff support to work. The problem with Hunter and Warrior is that their hand buffs only affect on minion at a time and are too specific. (Fight promoter may as well be a Paladin card.) Honestly I think Blizzard kinda messed up there.

I've been playing with different iterations of this deck since the release and I'm hovering around rank 9-10. I seem to lose to pirate warrior and reno lock every time, and that right there is about 50% of opponents. Pretty frustrating.

Idea for a Paladin weapon... a shield with zero attack & 3 or 4 durability... its effect would be your hero takes half the damage, lose one durability when your hero takes damage.

What would you think about playing defender of argust in this deck? In my experience this deck looses to face decks unless you got a really good hand for the early game. Also, what would you replace braun with, I don't have that expansion sadly and I don't think it's worth getting since it's rotating out soon.

His buff warrior deck was bad because it didn't run the taunt theme. With mostly taunts you can get grimy gadgeteer to live for multiple turns and make your hand able to beat jade golems.

Just finished getting all important cards for Jade Druid and Rogue, really want to get Buffadin going next. Should I rather invest in Don Han'Cho, Wickerflame or a second Fight Promoter and Meanstreet Marshal next?

Zakading Wickerflame is basically healing against aggro decks marshal is a draw that's usually a little delay, don han'cho is veeeeery slow and kind of situational (I don't have him but most of the time doppelgangsters with 1 buff are enough to win for example against druids)

Zakading Pirate Warrior will fall out of flavor a bit after the expansion settles tho. I can't tell how the deck would be without whickerflame because that was my only legendary so I build this deck around him. Next you should go for marshal, because the deck runs out of steam very quick.

Don Han'Cho is good but not essential. Wickerflame is a must due to the abudnance of aggro. Fight promoter is also a very good card in this deck. I'd personally craft wicker first, promoter second and hope for a don from a pack(that's how i got him), but I wouldn't craft him. He's an added bonus really. EDIT: Meanstreet Marshal is also a great card, but it doesn't make or brake the deck. You want it, but you can live without one.

Vikingr Fmly but it has some spell-like minions peacekeeper etc and charge minions turned out to be effective as direct damage. it is still a hard matchup against aggro though.

Well the argument Trump gives is that you make the deck weaker when you would put in spells since you will get much less value from your buffcards. I think I can agree to that since having these buffed minions help you with getting a huge boardswing anyways.

12Rman21 The thing is, you can't go mid/late game against the Buff and Jade decks. The cards get so OP you gotta use removal on 2 drops and you can't compete for value trading minions. This deck is much more fun to watch but I think it is just as cancerous as face mage/warrior to overall gameplay.

my buffdin use murloc and darkshire steward, if they got buff, good, flood the board with high health 1,2 drops. if they don't get buff, they will have divine shield.
