There are a few anti-zoo naxx cards, like Deathlord off the top of my head, that have been revealed and not released yet. I'm sure they will slow zoo down considerably and right now people are just trying new stuff because of all the new cards. And tbh I don't think it's as mindless as you think.

Nick Millette not true played zoo before it is brainless i hate the deck hate everytime i'm matched up with it it's to easy to win with it i hit legend with it in a little less than a week with it and i never wanted to touch it again and i made it to legend with ramp druid as well

the death lord, the 1/3 taunt that does 1 damage to everything on death, the sludge belcher ect are anti agro. since not all of them are out atm we will have to wait a week or two after the final nax wing to see if it needs a nerf.

I realy don't like the way Nax is taking this game. Playing with and against zoo is just so boring. And now even if you are playing controll and clear the board, half the time the board isn't even actualy cleared. It just makes the game so much less interesting.

His/her hero was golden so that means that he/she has 500 wins with that class. Chances are that either someone else was playing the account, or he was trying a gimmick deck (Altered freeze-mage?). I might be completely wrong however and he might of lost his mind and forgotten how to play.

Now, everyone is complaining about zoo. However, I find zoo to be *so* easy to beat now. Even easier than before Naxxramas. If you need my deck info let me know, but I use Rogue, Mage, Druid, Warrior, Priest, Paladin, my anti-zoo "zoo", even my shaman wins against zoo.

Hating on the zoo deck is like hating on any other deck that is played on the higher ranks, and I daresay a stupid thing to do. It can and is countered, so I don't know what the fuss is about. (Been playing HS since last year, started playing zoolock 2 days ago, never copied a popular deck until then)

The way that Druid game ended I had something similar happen the other day except I was Druid and it was Miracle Rogue, dude Leeroy'd, realized after attacking that the second shot wasn't enough to kill me, shadowstep'd it back to his hand and passed. I have both Savage Roar and the whelps and he's at 10.

Zoo isn't OP it's a fair matchup against any other decent deck. The only that makes everyone play it because it's a cheap deck and if you get lucky draw you can get some easy advantage early game. But its very to counter zoo and just rape shit out of zoo decks not that hard people. Besides you wont see that many zoo decks around rank 3-2-1 and legend so no worries only the nooby's play it untill the can't get any further than rank 5 with it.

I was thinking, of a fun paladin card class to add card, to counter the deathrattle theme "Holy shovel" - 3/3 weapon for 4 mana, - "If you kill a minion with deathrattle using the shovel its deathrattle does not trigger"

i run priest & lots of mind control as well as the spider that makes battle cry cost 2 more. as usual if the draw is not on your side you will lose but i've pulled alot of victories just by stealing & shadow madness when the board is full. also hilarious especially when zoo taps out early cuz he's top decking & i'm a thieving bastard.

This post naxx meta is a joke, literally 90% zoo so annoying cuz they have no counter. Even stuff like explosive trap is extremly predictable and egg counters that anyway. I have no clue how they can nerf it too seems very difficult. Doomguard, soul fire are fairly busted but its really the egg and spider that brought them over the edge with the resilience to board wipe.....

Trump retiring the f2p rogue to switch over to a zoolock in order to get to legend (which he ultimately ended up getting) only encourages more people to zoo it up on ladder. I was disappointed that he went this route.

And those have a bigger area of strategies. I dont care if zoo still exists, in a normal manner. I want to climb the ladder in a proper manner, where you have to think hard and long for every turn and can feel good after winning a game. But sadly most of the other players dont like thinking too long every turn, otherwise there wouldnt be this much zoo. Thats why i mostly play arena. If someone gets a zoo-deck in arena i´m not even mad, because its hard to do that. Its sad to see trump playing mostly ranked now, forcing himself to play zoo. He used to play arena the whole day and thats why i started watching him. I was okay with him playing ranked (i loved f2p shaman,wasnt that about the time of hunter-meta?). But a second time zoo(same again and again) is a bit too much and we can be happy if he plays 1 time arena a day.

At 14:12 what mistake is Trump referring to? Also, for you Zoo complainers, unstable ghoul, sludge belcher, sunwalker, any board clear, abomination, wild pyromancer, earthen ring farseer, handlock cards... It isn't that hard to counter zoo.

It's true you can make a purpose built deck to counter zoo, however usually that deck will suffer against other matchups especially control ones, maybe even mid range could give you problems. This is the main reason people complain about it in my opinion, you can't beat zoo without using a lot of cards that are just dead in other matchups. Of course it doesn't hurt to run a few cards that counter zoo, but if you don't draw into them at the right time... It's a damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Random question to the commentators here, reading some other comments about the Deathlord and his 3 mana cost for a 2/8 taunt made me think about the Mogu'Shan Warden and how it is 4 mana for a 1/7 taunt... Without a deathrattle effect. Maybe I'm missing something very obvious here, but doesn't that devalue the mogu'shan warden a lot? I understand you could also run a deck with both, or however if you chose to have one, it just seems that if a 2/8 taunt with a deathrattle is valued at 3 mana, a 1/7 taunt with no other effect should be 3 mana as well, at least. I'd appreciate some other input on this as I'm suddenly very confused what justifies that extra mana cost on the warden if the Deathlord is apparantly weak enough to only cost 3.

Deathlord deathrattle is bad for who plays him but i agree with you.

It costs 1 less, meaning that the biggest minion on your opponents board will usually have 3 attack. The most important reason however is that it got 2 attack which means it can trade with 3/2 minions. Mogushan blocks the damage but gets no value, Deathlord blocks the damage and gets value, even when you count in the deathrattle.

MizuFujimori Yes, but that wont happen too often. It's mostly an agro counter, which also works versus control because they wont get the battlecry effect. It's a risky card, but it's so strong versus agro that it will get used.
