Removed 1 Armorsmith and Cruel and added 2 Kor'Kron. Also removed one more thing and added Ragnaros. Works fine as well.

It's between about 30-40% to have Justicar on curve depending on if you keep it off the mulligan(which, notably, he did). Those aren't ridiculously bad odds. Plus, yes he does have a chance in that matchup without it. It's good, sure, but you only need to be able to outvalue your opponent and that comes down to other factors too. He deliberated that Rat before going through with it for instance. Sure he got quite lucky there(between around 6-9% chance depending on the Mage list considering Kazakus as best pull) but he understood that it was the best turn to play it since the best next turn for the Mage was Brann+Kazakus and he had hard removal if something big were pulled out. And, yeah, I would say Strife is one of the better control players, particularly in the control mirrors. He's mainly just patient, deliberate and understands the core dynamics of the game. Sort of like a chess player.

uh mage is heavily favoured in this matchup due to their ability to brann + kazakus + manic soulcaster. I've played the matchup as mage a good few times vs control warrior and every time I've just got this combo and won. The key to making sure to win as mage is similar to that of control warrior mirrors - ie. unless you need to play a card, you don't play a minion. The more minions you play, the greater the probability of your opponent being able to dirty rat your kazakus or brann.
