+mac102938 Just an ordinary ramp deck. If it had one copy of Force of Nature + Savage Roar it would technically be a hybrid between combo and ramp, but these usually don't work well at all, so it's mostly either one type (the combo that everyone plays) or the other (the old classic ramp which sadly few people are playing nowadays). Ramp druid is probably my favourite style out of all HS decks, together with a few Warlock classics as well.

+bloodySunday77 It's been a little while since I played ladder but I've never seen ramp druid play Alextrasza or Naturalize. It ran a lot of staple ramp druid cards but had some really interesting differences.

I would agree that they are not really staples (apart from Naturalise that used to take care of hard removals when Mulch was not around). But I had been using both in my own ramp decks (sometimes with Aviana & Kel Thuzad), so that's why it seemed to be a typical ramp style druid. Actually though, it's a deck style that allows quite a bit of improvisation - I don't think it was optimised right up to the last card, like most decks nowadays.

There was a dream of Alextrasza-ing the opponent so early. It could have worked out as well, especially with the 2nd dream of a ramp druid (laying many dangerous minions together with Kel Thuzad). But in spite of the fact I love ramp druid, I'm kinda happy that these two miracles didn't work, partly because I like Elise decks and partly because every time we watch a streamer we like, we identify with him and want him to win (except in cases where their salt is food to their viewers, like Reynad and Kripp).

Oh there's nothing wrong with being salty - it's just a human reaction. Nothing wrong as long as we realise the blame is not on luck but on the game design itself. And by default we choose to accept it as long as we play the game, so there's no true justification for whining. It's just that some players choose to sell "salt" and soap opera troll BM drama as a product, like "Never Lucky" Forsen, "What Are The Odds??!?" Reynad, "Shitty Move Bro" Kripp, "I Don't Use Viewbots" Athene etc etc etc. If someone chooses to buy that product, more power to them.

Kripp has some very insightful views on the development of the game and has excellent knowledge of its mechanics. It would be fine if he stuck to those while maintaining a more down to earth attitude, but what I personally find annoying is his smug snobbishness, his arrogance towards the opponent and the drama of bad RNG only when it hurts him.
