Nobody playing aggro is looking for an interesting game, they just want to win without much time or effort. I'd say that correlates well with people who rage quit, emote all the time/ general douchery.

Honestly, I like playing aggro hunter in KoFT, because games can get interesting after you play DK. Current secret mage is also quite aggressive, but it still rewards good play, because well - secrets fucking matter.

I've always wanted the game to pop up a window when your opponent leaves the game or concedes, where it asks if you want to quit or keep playing, and if you keep playing it just replaces your opponent with an AI, so you can finish the game. Nothing worse than when you're playing a super silly deck and some asshole decides to rage quit because he hasn't won yet.

The other day I played a against a hunter, and I had 1 hp left and he had a 2/1 on board. So I realized I was gonna lose and I attacked with my two arcane giants putting him at 14 hp and setting up a vaporize. So I knew I'd lost but thought I would pray he would mess up and my prayers were answered. He roped me and just before his turn ended he played N'Zoth and attacked face and as soon as the 2/1 died he conceded.

I do something that could be considered spamming emotes I guess. I play mostly a custom midrange death stalker rexxar deck because I think it's the coolest card since the old gods, which were the coolest cards ever. I do it to try to interact with the other player. I enjoy the game, I think it's cool, and one of my favorite things is figuring out what an opponent's custom or modified deck is trying to do. I use a *lot* of emotes because I wish there were an in game chat to talk about the crazy things that happen on both sides.

@MrAlienform13

originally i wanted to point out that a timely concede might be a good idea since an agro deck, in some cases, might win the next game sooner than it would take to finish this game but the style i see in the video seems actually familiar to me, at least i imagine that those players actually dont want to play hearthstone, they just want to complete the quests for the day and be done, and than some a*hole comes in and actually does well with a non-top-tier deck against their net-deck, now some might still wonder what is their problem, well the problem is that before you start "hating" the game you play whatever decks for fun, than you find out that when you play those decks you get recked by people with net-decks and here comes the game where you actually net-deck a deck and lose anyway because someone actually had a fun game :D

Well, if you're playing an aggro deck and you have a big board that is wiped by your opponent, odds are you have no cards left and it is impossible for you to win against any half-decent control deck. Therefore: you concede. It's not rocket science.

I slow roll against aggro decks, they are just trying to grind ladder... so I take solace in knowing that they aren't getting another quick win and that it will impact their stars/wins per hour. Not to mention sometimes they quit because of this and other times they are so frustrated they make a huge mistake.

@Mooseplatoon
@Mooseplatoon 7 жыл бұрын
I mean, the reason an aggro player will concede if you stabilize is the archetype's lack of catch-up mechanics, not necessarily the player's attitude. It's simply more efficient to start a new game rather than play the small odds that you can grind the game out. I like the aggro player memes as much as the next person, but taking them literally is an entirely different story.

I'll be honest. I enjoy playing mid-range and tempo decks. Decks that don't mind ending the game around turn 7 when they draw well. I have neither the skill nor the money to play combo decks. But decisions like pirate warrior, in Gadgetzan aggro shamn, and any other decks that basically either win by turn 5 or lose miserably are actually brainless.
@exantiuse497
@exantiuse497 7 жыл бұрын
Seriously, we're going there again? 90% of these "rage quits" have nothing to do with rage, people who play these aggro decks do so because they want to win as many games as quickly as possible, so they quit the game when they think they can no longer win. Say, if they lost their board against a heavy control deck with 5-card disadvantage on turn 7, their chance of winning is pretty close to 0, so if the goal is to win as fast as possible to farm gold, the smart play is to quit and queue again rather than playing for another 10 minutes for that 0.1% chance of winning. If you want to blame someone, blame Amnesiac, who popularized the idea of conceding when you feel your chance of winning is low

Not talking about net decks specifically, but why do you hate aggro decks? Sometimes I want to play a reno deck, othertimes I want to play a dragon priest or warrior. Other times I want to play pirate warrrior or face hunter. The only thing I trully hate is things that break the game completely (going infinite with jades, turn 5 board full of giants, etc)

Video strikes me as overly harsh. Kripp has videos championing FTP players, but then criticizes aggro decks even though they are often the only competitive decks available to such players. I've seen misbehavior from all sorts of players - not just aggro. If "rage quit" means exiting the game without conceding, I agree that it is misbehavior. I have no problem with aggro players conceding games earlier than other players because aggro decks generally have little or no ability to recover from a losing position.

Playing aggro to climb ladder is time-efficient and cheap on dust. Is it the player's fault for picking an optimal strategy, or Blizzard's poor design choice? You don't sit around to be hit in the face if your fast deck runs out of steam, and most players would rather not devote hours of time to Hearthstone. A streamer is the only one incentivized to play long, drawn-out games. Believe it or not, an all-golden 30 legendary deck isn't representative of the average player's Hearthstone experience, Kripp.
