Gus Sug Jaraxxus actually needs that buff, its nothing to joke about. With Reno out of Standard, Jaraxxus is hardly going to see any play, but as if it was not enough, they are going to dump Emperor Thaurissan too, making Jaraxxus completely unplayable. In 2017, controle Warlock will be no more. Blizzard simply ignores that archetype, as if it doesnt exist at all.

Don't think Kripp had as much to worry about as he thought. At some points in his "whoever draws c'thun first wins" he'd survive with around 25 effective life including minions on board. Plus, he had outs with both C'Thun and Polymorph; drawing either first, or polymorph even afterwards, was likely a win. But still entertaining as far as how they were both drawn back to back in the last couple cards

N'Zoth decks imo, or N'Zoth hybrid decks. Some people put n'zoth even in their murloc paladin deck and midrange hunter (with the edition of call of the wilds). In most cases though it just improved on certain decks archtype. Well resurrect priest is now a proper deck now whereas before it wasn't even that playable.

Good reminder that next time Blizzard should not design so many cards around one legendary minion that can only work in a few deck archetypes. Literally all 17 cards have no use once C'Thun decks become unplayable. 17 out of 134 cards become unplayable. It was cool for two weeks and then it dropped out of the meta.

All I'm saying is that's a lot of card space wasted for Cthun and there could have been more variety of decks if they had created more independent cards rather than these. These 17 different cards had a smaller impact on the meta than say Yogg Saron, Mysterious Challenger, Healbot and so many other cards. Let's just hope 15% of the next expansion does not revolve around one average card

DAFTnYOUNG it's not really wasted though, most sets have many cards that never see heavy play. C'thun decks are still viable as well so it's not even like you can't use them, most people are just too busy dragging troggs into faces to bother breaking up the monotony. Honestly I hope they do more quasi-tribal stuff like this going forward, it actually does more to differentiate decks than printing good standalone cards since larger percentages of the decks will differ from one another to achieve the synergy goals. It's a great way to encourage diversity and allows them to print more new cards that people will actually play with that aren't just "here's this thing that's like what you had before but bigger or more efficient."
