When you combine 3 units into a gold card, here is what happens... i havent heard 1 streamer say it right. If all 3 units are unbuffed, the gold unit will double in stats and double any effect it has, like battlecry, deathrattle or continous boosts. When units are buffed, combining 3 units into a gold doubles the units stats like in the previous example but keeps all combined buffs. This opens up to advanced strategy board building. For example if you start with 1 tidecaller, get a coldlight oracle and then find 2 more tidecallers. Your gold tidecaller will only have 6 hp. While if you find 2 tidecallers and coldlight both tide callers before finding a third tidecaller, your gold tidecaller will have 8 hp. So double base stats then + all buffs. This includes divine shield, taunt and poisonous etc... deathrattle... Edit :coldlight seer not oracle, ty purpleviking :D

This is incorrect, because, like Kibler said, it only combines the strongest two of the three. It does double the base stats but only keeps the buffs from the strongest two. Most of the time there’s no difference, because your newly purchased minion will trigger combining automatically, hence it won’t have a chance to be buffed. However, with heroes like Millificent Manastorm, Dancin Deryl and Rat King, some minions come pre-buffed from the store and will NOT transfer these buffs to the newly combined minion.

@@austinowens2061 It actually doubles the base stat and retains all buffs. Since they combine automatically when the 3rd one enters your hand, you only get all the buffs on the first 2 + double base stat. That's what he meant.

alleycats seem really good to pick up on this character since they sell for 2 gold and give +2 in stats when sold so you're paying 1 gold to get +4 spread over the minions you want to buy and you can hold them in your hand until you want to buy a third

Why would you use houndmaster on Ghastcoiler rather than Guldren? You want the wolf to die first so it gives buffs to as many things as possible. You want the snake to die later so there is board space for the two deathrattles minions. Giving the snake taunt is counter to both of these goals.

Really wish you didn’t skip the tutorial. Would’ve gone through some things you tried to explain on a timer. I have yet to get an explanation as to wtf is going on half the time from any streamer, was hopeful when you started explaining but then you stopped after explaining basic buy and sell mechanics. What do all the buttons do in the tavern? What’s with the numbers and stars? Why’s the one on the left going up? Why does Bob have stars? How is damage calculated? Super difficult to follow for someone who’s never played an auto whatever game

Taunting the Ghast was a bad move you didn't have room for both of its summons good thing Defender fixed that later. 16:18 Baron would of been amazing All those misplays well at least you won't have to do as much explaining the next time so that won't happen 😄

You need to get packs of the most recent expansion (descent of dragons) at 10 you get extra stats, at 20 you get three heroes, at 30 you get emotes. So right now, the only way is to preorder.

But the main point is that they are doing little more than copy and pasting the format then adding some tweeks, and it worries me about the future of how games get designed. Yeah I know how riot basically copied over warcraft 3's, DotA. But I think that was a move done out of passion for the game, here for battlegrounds I suspect, its not.
