That last fight was more on the team than just Chovy. GenG blind picks Trist, relies on Poppy to counter the Jax and Skarner...but Poppy uses everything to get the pick on Ahri, while Ashe and Maokai used everything on Skarner. All Trist can do is jump out to avoid Skarner ult and then ult away Jax. Ashe not flashing Skarner ult was also the icing on the cake. At that point they already knew they lost the teamfight, it was time for damage control by trying to stall minions. You saw Canyon and Lehends do the same flashing into the minions to try and clear.

Ult Jax away, W up onto Guma (the lethality varus btw with no ult who you will pop) and then Ashe should flash up and the whole team kites up and away from Jax while killing Varus who is alone. Sure maybe Guma can flash the wall into bot JG but that's one hell of a better fight and situation for them than what he did. To make matters 100x worse for GenG Chovy, after the entire fight is done, decides to walk up and try to 1v4 T1 and - shocker - it doesn't work, he W's away late and even flashes and T1 flash follow and kill him giving T1 the window to end. If Trist had just backed up and left if he didn't believe that the fight was winnable earlier on then GenG would have had the opportunity to play out 1 more fight/baron contest in 1minute. Yes T1 would get soul but they couldn't end right out.

The final fight was unintentional yet turned out so well.. BUT the fight at 26:00, definitely intentional baiting. The vision along the river already tells Faker there are 3 enemies at the top, yet he still teleports right in, made the 3 of them commit far enough. And his teammates came right on time AFTER completing their tasks on hand - Oner finished farming that side of the jungle and smoothly went to engage, Zeus went back to buy items & teleports in to continue the fight, Keria went back to buy items and met up with Guma who just casually picks up a kill before moving to the other side of the river to see if they can get chovy. Once this fight is over, GenG wont be able to contest baron, and T1 just smoothly continues with getting baron... 1 death for 2 & baron & drake = 2-3k gold earned, and in some cases, this keeps rolling to another 2-3 turrets...or even the nexus. So worth it...

The last fight was not won by T1 but lost by GenG. Peyz went too aggressive pushing skarner directly, also panic flash/cleanse almost in place. The real failure was on chovy though... He was way too passive at the end. he had rocket jump and flash up and could have easily either jumped or flashed toward Guma and continued autoing scarner. that would have gotten him the reset and away from both keria and zeus the only lockdown threats and continue targeting guma after. with oner dead, poppy would not have been CC'ed and could have helped fight guma. the focus upwards would have also allowed canyon's spears to not be seen due to directed focus upwards and possibly not dodged. also while the team fight was happening, he was farming instead of full retreat which got him run down. This will always be the difference between a leader like Chovy and Faker. Chovy doesn't trust his team, Faker does.

Maokai was trying to block for Ashe but he has no minions to do the classic Maokai move of taking the ability then W'ing back to safety. Keria knew Maokai has nothing else to W to and he has to block the hook so it's either he straight up tanks it and then flashes out and maybe lives or maybe dies still or he W's pyke to avoid the hook.

As an avid League of Legends fan I arrived early to the game between T1 and Geng. There was no way I was missing this hype match up. I was more then ready with snacks and drinks. As I saw the pre game timer count down, I started to relax until I heard an all to familiar stomach noise. In my panic, I rushed to the nearest bathroom praying I would make it in time. I pushed my way through the crowd and opened up the first stall. To my horror, there was a player in his white uniform slumped over. He was surrounded by these white bottles full of blue pills. "Warning if your gaming performance lasts for longer than four hours please seek emergency care". "What the hell" I said. "Is this a PED"? Now curious to see who the player was, I proceeded to lift his head up. "Oner" I gasped. "Is that you?" "Whose Oner" he said mockingly." "The name's BONER" he said as he ran out and ganked the poor men in the bathroom. After finishing up my business, I returned to my seat confused over what happened. It wasn't until after the 4th game of Boner fucking Geng did I fully understand his girth and tonnage.

I don't understand to 2 things... 1. Why nidalee jumps into the whole team instead spear snipe under tower using max range and trying to zone to kill minions while waiting for Maokai to respawn. Another is the same dive of maokai into entire team.... Like they just don't know how to protect. But ok.... Another thing I barely understand is their picks: Ashe, Tristana, Nidalee + front Poppy and Moakai. In summ: Mao is almostly decent for any situation, poppy can do some tricky TF if correctly use ultimate... But instead of Nidalee: I would have see better fit of Kayle or much more tanky-direct cc champ(maybe panthe if you like high burst, map controll and cc + panthe basically ruin 1v1 the most of their picks). + Trist & Ashe somehow were not able to find good position to do decent DPS....

He attempted to delay T1 and the minion wave. He couldn't do anything else. The death timer was too long, so his team won't respond and T1 would have already made it to the Base anyways if Canyon waited. The best he could've done was maybe rush to clear the minion wave to delay but even then T1 had a full team because Faker was already respawning and had teleport as you can see at the end of the match

He couldn't do anything else. He had to delay the minion wave, but clearly it didn't matter T1 was rushing to the base and Canyon was the last one left. He couldn't wait for his team to revive because T1 was already at their base by the time anyone from Gen G revives. The best Canyon could do was clear the minion wave or delay T1's advance. However, even if he was successful, it wouldn't matter as T1 had a full team as you can see that Faker already respawned and was using teleport. Canyon could not have any chances regardless, it wasn't his fault anyways, his team just lost a crucial team fight by gambling on that 2017 "Target Faker First" strategy

T1 always come from both sides cornerning the enemy.. if Gen had in mind that Jax was coming from behind focusing on ashe they would've won the fight by focusing on him instead

It's what happens when you are playing Faker at Worlds. He has a global taunt on all 5 enemy players perma. You see Faker = commit all ults and flashes to kill him.
