Why not run fungalmancer? I've made my own lower cost version of this deck as it has a powerful battlecry and a 5 drop that can then be evolved. Also really loving the evolve deck. By far my favourite to watch and play. Thanks for all the work!

Probably because stat-boosting and evolving have anti-synergy. Earthen Might is both better against aggro than Fungalmancer and also frequently gives him another minion to evolve later, which I assume is why he runs that over Fungalmancer.

Joseph Rasche That makes sense, I suppose that buffing your minions is also more important in the early game to gain board control but that later you could just evolved them.

I run Shrink Ray in my OTK pally both because there are so many tempo decks that get stomped by it and because I don't have Thalnos because I disenchanted it....4 times.

@@cutman0026 Meh. It has really been an on again off again card. It saw a long lull between old tempo mage builds and the modern otk pally build where it experienced sparse play in decks like control lock. It has a tendency to go dormant when mage isn't powerful. I really don't have any qualms out getting rid of it. Otk pally runs perfectly fine without it and I don't see a matchup that I have a better chance of winning with it in my list. Shrink Ray wins games against slow decks and and Blackweald Pixie will literally win the game solo under the coin in slow matchups. I also disagree with never disenchanting legendaries. There are more entirely useless legendaries than there are played ones. Dusting mediocre cards like Krag'wa for example is fine when they are rotating out soon and aren't particularly good in the first place.

@@Dantehhhhh 3 years ago I wouldn't have thought of it, but it really isn't that great now. The usual suspects like mage and warlock don't need it and otk pally really doesn't miss it. Blackweald or Shrink Ray work fine in its place. I find it to be one of the most readily cut cards in the deck besides Thekal and one Truesilver.

love the deck, but it sux atm. no removal or tools to clear anything. totally reliant on getting a good matchup or lucky early evolve. specially vs fast decks like Hunter. notice his winrate is 1-4!

My dad is an insane abusive sack of shit who controls me and my mom with fear and the fact that he earned the most wealth for our family so we kinda owe him. He likes to argue every day and talk about his past accomplishments in sports or whatever even though they are average at best. I'm in my early 20s and he forces me to pass my laptop and phone to him at exactly 10 pm. He screams like a fucking animal if for some reason I do it a minute late even though that "rule" of his creation is the most ridiciluos thing a human can come up with in 21st century. And when he screams, he can't stop doing it for like an hour or more and he somehow manages to anger himself again when I'm not even trying to argue.

Nice game and all but that Pala drew as shitty as it gets. No cycle, no call to arms, no uther. With that draw, any deck would've beaten him...When I play against OTK Pala - totally different story...
