I got one off my Crystalline Oracle in my Priest/Mage draft, and it was the only reason I won the game. If Oracle hadn't given me that exact card, there was no way I was winning.

I drafted a Frost Lich Jaina in two arena decks in a row. The first run went 12-2, but I only drew Jaina twice in the 14 games, and the second run went 10-3, with Jaina only being drawn once over the course of the 13. Both decks were slightly over 70 tier score, so I guess my luck evened out.

I just went 12 wins (2 losses though) for the first time with a Priest Mage. Frost Lich Jaina, X3 flame strikes, X2 mind control, X2 shadow word horror, X2 Keening Banshee, a Bonemare and the phoenix legendary I forget the name of. I felt like a bad person early on, until I got into the higher games and saw everyone else doing similar.

So I decided to play arena for like the third or fourth time ever since I started playing 2 years ago. I'm pretty sure I'm still crap at drafting arena decks but I got lucky and the last card offered was deathstalker rexxar, and I gotta say it has almost singlehandedly won me my first few games.

On my very first draft I had hunter and paladin hero cards. I went 5-3 just because I played aganist super aggro bs and my early game lacked of boardclear. In my loses also I did not drew my hero cards kappa. My 12-1 run was druid/hunter face deck, if you get a lot of removals and direct dmg then it seems to be op, I stomp many games. Important is to know what you will try to do right on the start of a draft.

My 3rd and last dual class arena draft was so bad I insta-retired it (yes, I know this was a mistake, I realised just too late). It's even more luck-based than normal arena. Will be glad when it's gone.

arcengal I've found it easier. Arena's always luck based but I found consistent better results than before, getting 10 wins and my first 12 win arena within 3 runs. I prefer it to normal arena, not just because of results but it's more fun and interesting. It's no more broken than before

Druid mage is imo the best combo: healing, removal, ramp, big minions, good taunts... I went 12-2 while with different picks it was hard to get 6 wins

Historically I've been pretty decent at arena 7-8 wins weren't rare and I've gotten plenty of 12 Win runs. But since the hero cards came in I've had the worst luck. Haven't drafted a hero card yet and even with solid 70+ point decks i haven't managed past 6 wins. I've gone 0-3 a fair few times because i hit just 3 insane decks in a row. Feelsbadman

i'm curious as to why almost all the cards he can pick are golden cards. Is that also randomized or is that something they did if you have the golden card in your own collection? (and if so. Are the cards you can draw from arena based on the cards you actually have in your collection?) I really like to play arena but I hardly ever get the good cards I see ppl get on youtube and twitch. I know it used to not be based on your own collection, but i'm starting to think something has changed
