The fact that they didn’t introduce corrupt for this minion for the usual BS reason of "keyword bloat" (which can’t exist in a digital card game where every keyword is always explained when hovered over) is so annoying. Even worse, it doesn’t even turn into a different card like corrupt cards worked

The whole cycle is like that - Clown doesn't have Corrupt, Initiate doesn't have Spellburst and Gnome doesn't have Honourable Kill.

@@Showsni Yeah, all under the stupid reasoning of "keyword bloat", where it’s allegedly too complicated for new players to have all these keywords. Except there would never be any scenario where they aren’t explained because the keywords are always explained when hovered over. So what is less confusing/inhibiting, having a bunch of keywords (that already exist) that keep card texts concise and consistent with old cards, and explained for anyone who is new, or writing out the keywords, which doesn’t reduce any complexity, it just gets rid of the keyword but has the same effect. That to me seems to fit "bloat" much more, you’re literally bloating card texts with unnecessary text that already have abbreviations. It doesn’t matter if it’s the only card in standard with that keyword, it changes nothing. The text is there anyway, whether it’s in the infobox or on the card doesn’t really matter, except that it frees up room on the textbox of the card to make more interesting cards

@@Icetea-2000 I think you misunderstand me. The theme of the set was darkmoon faire and corruption of the old gods. Cards would "corrupt" from the old gods influence l. You can see this in how they transform in their corrupt art. There was a clown card in the set that would corrupt, this card is a reference to that one. It's being nostalgic, without the old gods Influence it has nothing to "corrupt" into. Hearthstone cares a lot about the flavour and themes of sets over keeping the keywords where they don't make sense thematically
