@@derschwadzneluan4951 Blizzard gave me twice lots of free packs to player's who've quit to get them to return to the game. I'd say I was above average when I quit, which was around when Un'Goro went out of standard. It's just not the same anymore. I didn't feel like I could craft any decks as it seems everything relies on combos now. 2016 hearthstone had daily quests and tavern brawls. Now it's a lot more you need to do every day to maximize the gains, it's adding unecessary stress

the ideal combo is just coining out necrium blade on turn 2 (swing face to get it to 1 durability), snowfall graveyard on 3, and on 4 you play naval mine, shadestone skulker and then kill the skulker by either spelling it, or ramming it into an enemy. I was not feeling like who's the best player win but more like games are so polarized you know who win at the moment you see your opponents. never gonna forget playing control mage during Patches warrior era. it was so interesting to do the best play and all to control opponent. now aggro can create card generation so it's impossible to control them

Lol this is cherrypicking at its finest. C'Thun wasn't that great at the time barring C'Thun Warrior as a control option, which is of course slower and could take the most advantage out of the win condition. In fact, Blizzard pushed C'Thun Druid so freaking much as you would expect from the Druid devs that still do the same thing to this day. Yet it didn't work as expected, so guess what? they created Jade Druid later BTW, I also miss when you had at least 1 turn to react to the opponent's ending turn. Nowadays there's so much unreactable damage from the hand that it doesn't feel rewarding at all. This problem also existed in earlier hearthstone though.

Hearthstone is dead if you're not willing to spend lots of chedda! I bought like 150 usd when it first came out and not since. Now when with event decks and cards no WAY i can get past diamond without one of the 5 move win decks. Make a deck to counter never ending rogue decks...all of a sudden nothing but time warp mages...counter mage decks...nothing but druids. All 5-7 moves can't be counted. It's just not fun to play at all with these decks. Going back to mtg lol

Man the game could get new cards and strategies but this mentality of every expansion get stronger cards make the game boring because all decks become equal like Highlander warrior because everyone will use Brann, Tro Gun, Trial by fire, Sanitize, Zilleax and Dr. Kaboom... Why all the decks are equal? Because some cards are ridicoulsy strong so there is no fun in creating your own deck because some stupid overpowered cards/combo.

cause playing until turn 10 is part of the game core gameplay, if it was designed to play ONLY fast games, we would print at max 5 mana cards, play Marvel Snap if it's what you are looking for. if you played old hearthstone, you would understand how interesting it was to play control decks instead of who has the best opening in aggro mirror
