Just finished watching another of these videos, and a new one pops up! Woohoo! Time to look at one of the most powerful cards in hearthstone huh? Also, been loving this series since I found it, the way you explain the lore and tell it makes it feel very dramatic, like listening to a story teller ad not a history lesson, so you're doing great on keeping attention. Trolls are so badass. Night Elves had to get the help of four dragonflights to barely defeat the Qiragi. Trolls defeated the whole Aqir race on their own and killed a faceless general in the process.

+Christopher Parsons If I may add Night elves were under the influence of well of eternity and their Queen was at the time Azshara also known as the most powerfull sorceress in the world.Troll tribes werent united as they were when they were fighting aqir also.Zandalari didnt wanna fight since they belived they cant win Azshara with lust for power didnt really care about trolls she just wanted to expand the empire.Also trolls sufferd heavy losses during the war with aqir.When trolls fought Aqir they made them split up so Night elves fought less aqir then Trolls did.But in Night elves' defense Trolls are literally fearless they are like kamikaze, night elves had some fear of death but trolls had non. Night elves originate from trolls btw. Trolls are awesome...

+iamDeej Anubisath and Tol'vir are mentioned in Warcraft Chronicle... In all honesty the Ossirian info was from Wowpedia, it references a link that has since been archived by Blizzard so this is the only record for this info.

I'm confused, you talk about the gurubashi fighting for ahn'qiraj and then splitting into the gurubashi and zandalari, but I thought those two tribes are on different continents. am I missing something?

+Aaron Scoggins They are different tribes, sorry didn't communicate that clearly enough. The Zandalari formed the empire of Zul to bring the trolls together as a single fighting force. Due to their position atop the Zandalar mountains, the Zandalari were in a great tactical position to advise the other tribes and the other tribes respected them. That's why when the Zandalari advised the Gurubashi, they listened. The Troll Aqir war took place while Azeroth was still a single continent.

+Vivi Dice Very observant :). This happens a lot in WoW a basic model being given a new skin to give an entirely new race etc. For example the Draenai base was used for the Mogu in Mists of Pandaria

I am starting to really like Fandral.He reminds me alot of Kael'thus Sunstrider who is my nr 2 favorite lore character.They were both powerful leaders of there people,both wanted nothing but to help there people but both were driven mad by tragedy. They both are elevs and use fire magic.Such a striking resemblance don't you think.

Kael was the reason I rolled Belf when I first started, hoping to have him as my leader... I wasn't happy when I found out what happened :P

alot, so far they've covered two raids, and vanilla wow, and sporadic lore items (like fandral), in reality they probably have ~30%, definitely less than 50% covered or something like that

The more I hear about the Old Gods, the less I like the lore surrounding them. I liked WarCraft better when the biggest threat to the world was the Burning Legion of demons, not a bunch of slimy tentacled bugs.

The Old Gods are alien of origin, not native to Azeroth. Their goal is to corrupt the sleeping titan soul of the planet by corrupting every single living thing on it. I think that's pretty hardcore.

Most likely it's not related. I mean the four Elemental Lords used to fight the Aqir and the N'raqi (faceless ones) before they lost and were enslaved by the Old Gods. But I assume Al'akir and Ragnaros are just calling people insects out of hubris and due to their massive physical size.

Why don't you keep the theme of this series talking about another one of Azeroths races,The Faceless ones, and while you are at it you can talk about some of the faceless one legendays such as Soggoth,Volazj and Zerus

Zerus is, as far as I know, a HS original character. Soggoth was one of the strongest commanders of the Old Gods. Twenty Mountain Giants were needed to defeat Soggoth. He's dead now but you can visit his massive remains in WoW in Darkshore at the Master's Glaive. The Glaive that was used to kill him still sticks inside his giant skull. According to old lore that's because removing the weapon would've given him time to regenerate his wounds and revive himself. Currently there are many Twilight Cultists to be found around the Glaive and they probably want to figure out how to resurrect him.
