Because of the give all your minions +1/+1? Its actually a lot different simply because of when it does that. Hitting 10 minion in your hand still didn't do anything until you actually play them, the point of competitive spirit is that you IMMEDIATELY get the +1/+1 effect when it triggers. In that sense, its better. The reason it isn't STRICTLY better is simply because its a secret and you can't control when that happens.

I'm not terribly excited about the grimestreet abilities, but if the meta does slow down enough, it's gonna be such a momentum-heavy deck. It will just ramp on you. I can't wait to start theorycrafting decks on release date. The first week of release is the best week for us to stream since netdecks won't be a thing at the time. Experimenting > Netdecks. Just realized... silence is gonna be very strong against grimestreet cards. I might have to tech an ironbeak owl.

Brass Knuckles is a 2/3 Weapon which holds a total stat value of 3 attack and 3 Health for a later turn. Lets Compare it to Arathi Weaponsmith, which is a 2/2 weapon, which holds a total stat value of 3 attack and 3 health and it's immediate. Is Arathi Weaponsmith played? not really. So my guess is, brass knuckles is like covering your fists with shit.

Arathi Weaponsmith actually was played in some pirate warrior lists not too long ago. It's not an amazing card but it's decent. The major reason why you'd pick the knuckles is because 3/3 stats on a Doppelgangster, Soggoth, Grom, or Kor'kron elite is much more valuable than on just a vanilla minion.

Grimestreet Protector seems interesting in a sticky N'zoth-type deck. Suddenly your Sylvanas they set up a bad situation for gets to live an extra turn because she has divine shield and a taunt in front of her. Control pally is pretty top-heavy though so it might just be streamlined out

The grimestreet cards remind me a lot of C'Thun. I wonder which class can make the best use of them. Hunter seems to have good individual cards, while I like the fact that you don't have this random factor in Paladin. With Paladins Hero Power you can also stall a little bit better than the Hunter. I'm not entirely sure what to think about Warrior. Don Han'Cho into Tirion or one of the Ragnaros must feel good :o

The problem with the Brass Knuckles/Stolen Goods comparison is that Stolen Goods gives +3/+3 to one minion, which lets you ramp out huge minions early (people keep talking about the Fierce Monkey 6/7 dream), whilst Brass Knuckles is usually +1/+1 to 3 separate minions, which is way worse. They'll also be bigger, since Brass Knuckles is best case scenario turns 4 to 7, and a +1/+1 to say a 5/6 is a much smaller deal than to a 2/3. (Stormforged Axe cried when you said a 2/3 weapon doesn't exist in the game, by the way)

A 2/2/3 weapon doesn't exist, and that's what Trump said. Axe has overload, because in shaman, weapons are quite more "premium" than they are in warrior. That said, Brass Knucles is still just a terrible version of another 2/3 weapon, Coghammer.

If you compare the average expected Stat line, they're quite similar, both being cards that were extremely overstated for their cost. Now obviously doctor-boom had more to him than his stats, the doom bots being direct ( albeit random) damage was a huge boon in the cards favour and often was pivotal.

Rat Pack will imo fit in current Hunter as well. It curves perfect into Houndmaster. All those tokens are annoying and activate Kill Commands, Make Leokk better, helps ensure target for 2nd Houndmaster etc

I don't think the meta will slow down a lot until the first expansion of 2017 since then all the huge aggro and tempo cards are being removed (Tunnel Trog, Totem Golem, Flamewalker, etc.) However, I do think the meta will slow down slightly with replacement Zombie Chow and other anti-aggro cards being added. Not a huge amount though.

I get the feeling this expansion will bring an end to Mage's damage based removal cause most cards come out of the hand way stronger than their original stats and in the end force most removals to be blown early before actual late game cards come in. That little banner beneath the mana crystal means that it can only be used by the classes in that card's gang. In the case of Don Han'cho for example, he is part of the Grimy Goons which can only be used by Hunters, Warriors, and Paladins.

I actually think Brass knuckles is pretty damn good. You missed an obvious parallel, Sword of justice. Thats a 1/5 weapon for 1 less mana. But sword of justice uses a charge to buff the minion. So Brass knuckles is kinda like a 2/6 sword of justice that uses 2 charges each attack. Its a stretch comparison, but it works. If sword of justice had 2 attack would it see play? Plus another thing you failed to mention was that Warriors have a card called upgrade. This adds a lot of value to upgrade. Captain green skin as well. I think Brass knuckles will do amazing in control warrior.
