I beat the first heroic boss the same way everyone else did, I a LOT of big minions (and a couple pally secrets such as get down and redemption to keep his guys held back, and to get value out of mine). The 2nd boss was the hardest for me, but I got lucky and he played milhouse against me turn 2, so I used a free nourish for 3 card draw, into my 2nd nourish + wild growth, so I actually ramped AHEAD of him. One I pulled that off I simply out-Powered him, I was using a deck closely resembling Noxious's Giant Forest deck, with all taunt givers, and a couple well timed BGH's. If not for his Alexstraza, I would've won the game at full health.

Grimstone was the hardest heroic boss in this wing. I beat him with a Priest deck with Mindgames and a lot of hard removal but I needed to go back to the drawing board several times.

I like how amaz says he was the World First on the 1st wing without a certefied achievement to prove it. Not every player broadcasts and livestreams his gameplays, so technicaly someone CAN and probably HAS cleared Heroic before him and did not broadcast it on twitch like people think its standard to do.

I beat the heroic dark iron arena with a druid deck that was full spells and 2 gadgets. He played millhouse turn 7 while I had a gadget, I unleashed full spells on his face. Easiest way to beat him, just needs a bit of luck. It works with only 1 force of nature as well. Toss in every spell possible.

I found the second boss the most difficult, not the third. Ended up using druid with cho up and recycling the 1 drop card that kills a minion and gives two draws. For the third boss believe I used a priest, just can't use any taunts. The first boss was easy the only one I didn't have to cheat on.

Best strategy for the Dark Arena is let him fill his board (make sure he has Cho, Nat Pagle would be a bonus) and then mill the crap out of him by casting Frost Nova every turn (he will cast it back at you). He will be milled. Also, try to save your Fireballs until he has 12 or less health.

The trick to Dark Iron Arena is to not kill the 1/1 crowd because it takes up the spot for his legendaries. Nerf the legendaries he does summon like with Aldor, hope he doesn't summon better legendaries first like Sylvannas, and then wait for the right moment to clear the taunts and strike.

Muhehe. Grim reaper deck is reality. Warsong commander + Commanding shout + Grim reaper combo is funny and creates nice burst especialy if Warsong commander was on field from last turn and you have 3 more mana to cast some whirwinds or Cruel taskmaskers. Also good to that deck is Emp. Thaurisson that allows to play that combo on turn 7 thanks to cheapening it instead of waiting till turn 10

I've beat all 3 hc's today on the first try except the last on second, first with ramp recomb druid, second all spells gadgetzan druid ( got lucky and started with him in hand plus 2 innervates than he played millhouse so he was dead on the 2nd turn), and the third with priest a 30/30 northshire did the job

SuperLuddan They are rewarded every 2 levels above level 10 for all the classes. Once you get to level 50 you start unlocking golden basic neutral cards.

Surprised to see trump struggling more than I did with these bosses. Maybe he's just trying to be entertaining by not choosing the obvious decks, but I found it super obvious that freeze mage would be great for these first two bosses (obviously loaded with heavies for the first one, and for the second one I did antonidas win condition). Standard control priest worked for me first time out the gate on Thaurissan, too, with the only customization being swapping in 2x crazed alchemists to hit the wife with.

I made the Arena on my second try. But I have to admit that it was sheer luck. He played Millhouse on turn 7 and I had Antonidas + spell in my hand. LOL

Surely Paladin must be the equal very worst hero for vsing the 2nd boss. Sometimes I feel like Trump doesn't even think. I mean Rogue is the obvious answer no? Rogue hero power is 2 for 1 the bosses hero power. You have 6 insta removes (sap, sabotage, assasinate) and a mass remove (vanish), not to mention your oil rogue style removes, as well as the fact you just got gang up so pick a legendary or two and put 6 of it in your deck. EZPZ Druid and Mage have to be close seconds. Shaman, third, with the Ancestor's Call Gadgetzan gimmick deck. Priest, 4th, at least you have some removal. Then you are left with Hunter and Warlock going face hoping that he gets a slow tempo, though them taunts gonna be a pain. I mean maybe Warrior and Paladin are better than those 2, but geeze all your removal is reliant on combos.

I did something similar with Mage, lots of freeze (frost nova, cone of cold, blizzard, frost bolt, ice lance) to keep his side of the board quiet and massive cards to kill him quickly. Killed him on turn 4 or 5 with a 12 attack Gruul.
