I would contest this. That's like saying chess isn't skill demanding. It's all about memorizing what move to make when placed in a certain scenario; what is the most logical thing for your opponent to do next. Now, chess is not luck/chance reliant like Hearthstone is, but it is still arguably skill intensive.

pmgmsd I would like to express how wrong you are but arguing over the internet is not my priority. Consider this: how many random game elements does chess have? Hearthstone has hundreds and hundreds of cards, yet your opponent only plays 30-35. Also the draw element is random. And many card effects are random. It's not liek saying chess isnt skill demanding. Many meta decks can be played by anyone. Only a few decks take skill and are actually effective. I'm not entirely sure if you've ever played the game, actually..

Every card game has draw range, that doesnt mean that card games take no skill. Decks only having 30-35 cards is completely irrelevant as to whether a game takes skill or not. The overwhelming of the card effects are NOT random. Your points are terrible. I'm not entirely sure if you've ever played a card game to be honest

Devin Battle Dragonfire potion only damages non-dragons. He traded Azure Drake into Twilight Drake, which the potion won't affect.

Is this a deck that can win without Reno, or do you pretty much need Reno to win? I have every card except for Raza, and it looks like a good deck. but I just played against a guy using it (I was Dragon Priest, I don't think he had all these cards, he had a few different choices like Pint-sized potion), and I took him nearly to fatigue and won pretty easily. He just clearly never drew Reno. Obviously that's variance, but can it win without Reno consistently? (obviously Trump did several time in this video)

Is it possible to replace Cabal Shadow Priest by Justicar Trueheart? Or having a 4 hp heal isn't that powerfull in the current meta?

cabal is better in an aggressive meta because taking a minion and summoning 2 for 6 mana (which is the end result) creates faster stabalizing than gaining 2 extra health with healing. since on turn 6 you wont heal. (assuming you survive til turn 6; see rest of post) justicar's power doesn't become more valuable than taking a minion until you have healed several times, which is hard to do in the current meta. Pirate warrior, if all of their minions survive (which isn't likely, but for the sake of understanding it's power, we'll say it happens) can deal 31 damage by their 4th turn. and that is without using any heroic strikes or mortal strikes. and it also doesn't count in arcanite reaper damage. justicar is just too slow against that much power.

Crazyon3 For the deck Trump was running, Bog Creeper. Pros and cons below. Pros: -Same mana cost -Same taunt ability -More health -Common rarity, so you likely have it or the 40 dust to craft. Cons: -Loses the dragon tag for dragon synergy cards (Can't think of a good dragon type substitute.) -Loses deathrattle AoE which really helped Trump in one of the games in the video, though he may have still won with Bog Creeper. Conclusion: Chillmaw is by far the best choice for the role it plays in Trump's deck, recommend getting it if you play HS often.

having played reno priest a lot this expansion i agree, the one thing it lacks is good taunts unless you got the dust for tirion, so if you used all your contol cards earlier and they drop a turn 8 rag it can fuck you up

I can also see reno mage being better at very high legend ranks where reno lock is the most prevalent deck, since it does a really good job of preying off of renolock

It does decently well, but it's not as consistent. The only advantage it has is the early board clears of demonwrath and hellfire, but priest has a 2 for 1 that potentially negates a deathrattle in the form of the 1 mana steal potion, healing, and much more consistent mid game minions
