There is a bug where Brann does not affect the battlecry of Energy shaper. Just had a handful of arcane bolts turn into 3 cost spells. when brann was down. =(

Unless I'm misunderstanding that could be an intentional interaction related to the cost reduction thing he talked about in the video, if it looks at the current cost and gives a discounted version of a spell 2 higher then no matter how many times you run the effect they'll never go up in cost since they keep getting discounted to the same starting point.

Brian slowly amassed his lands. He played a Blastoderm, which got in a hit. Zvi played out another Chimeric Idol and chose to chump block the Blastoderm, rather than take the second hit. On his next turn, Kibler cast Rith, the Awakener, and held back the Blastoderm. At first, this play looked very questionable - and it would be very likely that if Brian attacked with the Blastoderm, the game would end in one or two turns. However, this served two purposes. If he attacked with Blastoderm, Zvi would block with the Assault / Battery token, lowering the number of tokens Rith would generate. The only card in Zvi’s deck that could turn this game around was Saproling Burst. The extra blocker would keep this card from killing him. Zvi looked for an opening, but couldn’t really do anything. Kibler untapped, then very slowly, while announcing it, tapped”a white, a green and a colorless,” to which Zvi said”oh, no!” The Armadillo Cloak hit Rith and Rith went into the red zone for a crushing blow. It was a huge smashing. Just a hop, skip and jump later, this match was over.

rommath is terrible card. so much worse than tess or Jace. It should at least read "spells will not hit your face". waste of a design, as usual.

Hahah no thanks, we already had that 9-mana mage legendary last year or so that did that - I'm still traumatised in case I hear "I HAVE BECOME ONE WITH THA VOIIID" again and get utterly wrecked like old times. And that card was originally OP *years ago*. Could you imagine what a card like that could be capable of doing if released now?

@@Purplexity Yogg was a neutral and was juiced up by casting any spells, Rommath is a mage legendary and you need to specifically cast spells that didn't start in your deck. Those are both very large restrictions so I don't actually see why making the effect more powerful in various ways would even be powercreep. And of course the whole game has powercrept since Yogg was played in Standard, so it's fine if Rommath is stronger than Yogg was since it's a whole different meta now.

tess spells also hit your face, and jace is a rediculous card that never should have been printed
