I used to play control Paladin back in kotft, I would instantly concede when Jaina was played because I had no way to end the game and they would win in fatigue with elemental healing. It's weird seeing it be so power-crept by the new hero.

Yep turns out a 2 mana pyroblast as a hero power is better than summoning some 3/6s with lifesteal

Still a very solid DK in Wild, and most important, way more fun. I only run her as the only hero card in my dragon Rena Reno mage and it's more than enough to win the long control game.

the fact that jaina was op at 9 mana and varden is at 7 show the amount of powercreep, you cant even play jaina and hero power in the same turn to benefit from it (unless you play snowflurry turn before offc)

I've been using Frost Lich Jaina ever since she existed. I often use secrets to cover her weaknesses, as well as making copies of Ragnaros for big burst damage and healing.

Jaina frost vs Demon hunter relics is not a fair pairing

While varden is a way better card, I have found that it's worth to run jaina in hero power mage. Not instead of varden but along side it. It's so good to get any herocard in a hero power based deck and there is no tutor cards for hero cards (tutor card = draw a chose one spell, highest minion etc) So it's good to run as it doubles your chance to draw a hero card that game.

And still too slow sadly. 9 mana summon a 3/6 is basically game losing in today's hearthstone. If it froze the enemy board, then maybe it would be useful, but not as is.

Play minions with more than 4 health and don't play decks that do nothing in the early game / need a lot of setup - Curse Warlock is specifically built to punish those kind of decks but it has zero removal against big minions

@@erra1645 It punishes control decks while having the tools for one of the strongest early aggro. Their main weakness is bless priest and maybe miracle rogue because that archetype can get out of hand early in stats if you don't have good removals but not everyone wants to play that deck. Curse implock is favored in every other match up because even if you manage to hold them back they'll keep the pressure endlessly on or just kill you with curses if you beat their absurd amount of board pressure. The conversation isn't just play a specific archetype that can kill them, the conversation is almost every deck gets absolutely clobbered by them which makes it stressful to fight if you don't play the very few decks that don't die immediately to them or curses a few turns later.

Selling out (I'd rather call it compromise) is easy to do, (sometimes you have to close your eyes) it's not so hard (being rich is no disgrace) to find a buyer for you (put on your shoes and join the race), when money talks (it has a very soothing voice) you're under its spell... (it's up to you to make the choice) ah, but what do you have when there's nothing left to sell?
