(Hearthstone) Still Winnable?

Crazy how high impact each turn felt from both sides. As somepne who hasn't played or followed HS since 2019 I am genuinely amazed at how crazy the game has gotten in the past 4 years. I don't mean that in a positive or negative way, it is just nuts to witness what the average turn is now.

I play wild format using extremely aggressive deck and its working against other decks but now i can't get closer to diamond rank because Reno Jackson,cards that steal your quest reward and armor druid stands in my way which im sad 😤

Shouldn't you have armored up before shatter since it would have left you with 1 mana to play a minion? It ended up being the right move because the colossal was replayed and you had no minion down for it to lifesteal.

Yeah feels like you might as well run Renathal as there is enough of a pirate density in Standard. That way you can run brann for those match ups

@@darklordinateur Precisely! Added Zola and Brann for multiple boats. Filled the deck with armor gain and card draw. Spammy arcanist does great vs aggro these days. Might optimize the deck for specific deck counters later on. But so far at diamond 9 (not the most competitive place) with 75% win rate. For some reason i struggle with paladins (2 games). Never drew spammy arcanist at a good time for those matches.

Chiming in on the negative yeah I know not cool but the game needs to improve and if everyone is passive Blizzard will never care except to keep taking yorurmoney. The idea of still winnable is one i feel we all would love to have in every game except for a very big major problem and that is otk combo decks.In those cases and there are many of them YOU have no control over the game other than to mindlessly RACE them to the finish line.All those players are doing is biding time until the I WIN combo arrives and that is a sad place for the game to be in.

​@@imapaincake2305Because with disruption that straight up removes cards, you just turn it around and become the combo yourself. If you hit the right cards, your opponent has no counterplay. Increasing mana cost or shuffling cards back into the deck are better ways of doing that in my opinion.

Rogue is sad in general it is a RNG deck/class another dumb way to play the game relying on rng yes RLYING on rng instead of hoping for rng.

I found no satisfaction in winning a game with cards not included in my OWN deck, or worse from OTHER class.. Feels so dirty. You still won that game, Kibler. That rogue won't find true victory in his heart. What a rubbish playstyle.

I can understand this thought process because their victory usually comes from lucky bullshit, but as an OG theif rouge player there is nothing more satisfying then putting together crazy combos with cards from different classes

This comment is hilarious because kibler himself has stated that this is the playstyle he enjoys the most (in one recent mage video). Also it's not as easy to pilot as you think.

The deck has the standard concoction early game that you play on curve, get over-valued concoctions and tempo out all your discover cards with Serrated Bone Knife and Preparation and Shadowstep. After that it's a matter of hoping you high roll on Recon and Jackpot. Then just play use Swiftscale Trickster to cheat mana. It's incredibly easy to pilot since basically everything is out of your control. It's not like we're talking about Miracle Rogue here.
