A good idea would be to add Yugioh traps into the party box deck. You can set them facedown as mana per turn, and you can activate it on opponents turn. I think it would add more spice to the game as any face down mana card instead might be a nasty trap!

@@christophermediavilla5247 Technically, if the card cannot be mistaken for another by wrongly naming it, it is legal (and there is no card named Left Leg of Exodia or similar taht could be mistaken here) only if there is one or more cards with the same name and different subtitles you must be specific. There was some tournament finals or semifinals where this came up and so we know judging of it. tl;dr Saying Left Leg of Exodia or even Exodia's Left Leg would be totally viable to identifiy the card in question.

I would love the idea of this being a once-a-month thing. The idea of the first Monday let's say of every month is a party Tower video. I know Carl said that the reason he's only doing one episode a week is to help with stress but having this little extra one that's fun and people can look forward to either being in or watching, while also giving the ability to edit the video in the background due to the very long distance between episodes would create an enjoyable environment for both you at the card market and us viewers at home without adding a high level of stress.

In my party box, we treat Yu-Gi-Oh cards like this: - Power/Toughness are equal to the first 2 digits of ATT/DEF. - Mana Cost is equal to their star level plus the 1 color mana that matches the card's element. - If the card would require tribute summon in Yu-Gi-Oh, you must pay it's tribute to cast it. - If face down, you may turn it face up any time it would in Yu-Gi-Oh. - All Traps have Foretell.

It also doesn't buff creatures on its own, since it only affects action cards and the closest thing to action cards in MtG would probably be instants and sorceries. Put it into your hero's soul has various different effects depending on the hero, usually as a resource. So it should probably say 'You may cast an instant or sorcery with mana value 1 or less from your hand without paying its mana cost, as you do so, that spell gains "Target creature gets +3/+0 until end of turn. If that creature deals combat damage this turn, you may return this card from your graveyard to the battlefield face down. It's a Treasure artifact with '{T}, Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color."'"

Some Flesh and Blood options for Spice and the gang to consider for future games. Mischievous Meeps, 1 mana, 2 damage, go again, on hit steal an item (artifacts?), otherwise draw a card. Snatch, 0 mana 4 damage attack, On hit, draw a card. Herald of Erudition, 2 mana, 5 damage attack, can only be blocked by 1 card, On hit draw 2 cards. Weakest Link, 2 mana, 6 damage attack, on hit look at defending player's hand, choose a card without a defence value (all of them), discard it, and draw a card. Double Strike, 0 mana, 1 damage, exile itself and you can attack with it again. go again.. time walk twice?

i have a card i would you like to add to the party box: "Gizmek Inaba, the Hopping Hare of Hakuto" it is a 1 green mana 50/50 (it is the lowest stats you can get on a ygo creature) the effect is kinda long, but i tried to explain it as easy as possible: when this card enters the battlefield, you may play a machine creature from your hand (with Power=Toughness) witout paying its mana cost. you can exile this card from your GY: the Power and Toughness of 1 target machine creature you control (with power=toughtness) becomes X untill end of turn. X is equal to the sum of the power of all machine creatures you currently control (with Power=Toughness). Creatures you control, except that target creature, cannot attack this turn. Activate this ability only as a sorcery.

To translate Yu-Gi-Oh stats to MTG, you need to divide by 400 (8000 life ÷ 400 = 20 life). I recommend rounding down, so that Blue Eyes White Dragon has the same statline as other Elder Dragons.

So, I made my own version of this after seeing you play with PleasentKenobi and watching his own video on it. With a few changes. First, mine is called Chaos Tower Cross-dimensional Havoc And Outlandish Shenanigans I removed Joker cards, only because my play group doesn't know every magic card known to man and waiting for them to look up a card or using the same ones everytime got tedious. I'd love to share all the special rules we came up with for non-magic cards but it will end up being too long of a comment. However, I wish more of the guys at my LGS were willing to play it from time to time. I put a lot of heart into it. Someone even opened an orcish bowmasters from booster tutor that's permanently in the deck. I don't go to Magic events outside of my LGS, but I'm seriously hoping to pull out my Chaos Tower elsewhere eventually. Wish me luck.

Ideas of my own and I have read that I like: 1. Add Yu-Gi-Oh trap cards to get face down value. 2. Similarly, add VS system cards, as that game uses the Party Box face down mana system. VS system has Locations and Plot Twists that can be tirned face up. 3. Add Battletech TCG cards. Rochard Garfield deveolped the Battletech TCG and it has a lot of fun and interesting cards to use, as well as a face down/reveal system. That, and Come on: Battlemechs. Just writing this makes me want to build a party box of my own.
