Mysterious Challenger and Murloc Knight have basically made it so that (for right now at least) a *lot* of people are going Paladin. It was an already great class to begin with, but now you have a new potent Meta deck (Challenger) and a new incredibly fun and random-that-sometimes-works deck (Knight). Been playin a Knight deck myself and it is probably the most fun I've had with Hearthstone in months.

+Klayhamn A lot of the time I don't get how they decide what should be what rarity. There are a ton of good cards (Shredder comes to mind) that are common, and a ton of crap cards that are rare. I've come to think that the rarity thing is mostly for Arena. Besides, even if Knight was a rare, it's so good everyone would be crafting it just to try it out once, so that wouldn't be a deterrent.

***** rarity mostly affects arena indeed. And it has an important role in arena. If too strong cards are given a lower rarity than they should have --- arena sessions would be more like a coin toss: if you have the OP card you win, if you don't - you lose. Ideally - you want arena to be more around skill than luck, and you sure as hell don't want the outcome be determined by a single coin toss. Also - ideally, you want all classes to have a similar win-rate. If they don't - it means they're imbalanced. Having a common card that is extremely powerful can offset the balance. So, I don't know what the statistics are, but my intuition is that this card should have been a rare.

+118bone Tried running 2 Flares, it's just way too slow and will lose you games against every deck that isn't running Secrets, and it's really only amazing against Secret Paladin. The funny thing is this meta is so screwed up now that Midrange Hunter is now considered a slow deck compared to the rest of the cancer out there, so paying 2 mana to draw one card against non-secret classes will straight up kill you. I've seen some people try face or hybrid hunter with Flares, the problem is most Secret Paladins are now running double Consecrate (mainly to counter the mirror lol) so all your one/two health minions will die in one turn.

+silvsilvsilv that makes you weaker to other decks - adding in wild pyro would make you much weaker to patron for instance - just as adding in kezan is weaker against non secret decks or harrison is weaker vs non weapon decks. Secret pally might be everywhere but only because it's easy to make and about as good as other competitive decks just like face hunter in it's prime, once the meta balances out it should fit in with all the others along with drasgon warrior/priest.

+shankz DE He is more valueable in combination with circle of healing + Northshire cleric. In that case you can get 4/7 on turn 3 + draw at least 1 card, depends on how many injured minions are on the board. That gives you a big advantage over your opponent because a 4/7 minion can kill most of the turn 3/4 and even some of the turn 5 minions in one shot and without dieing + being ready for another type of heal = draw more cards. There are different combos that give you an edge, but depends your deck and the matchup. You may run flash heal for some cheap healing or burst dmg with the Auchenai Soulpriest (Flashheal = 1 mana - 5 dmg). And so on, and so on... So the Blademaster can be really useful and even gamewinning but only in the hands of a priest.

If he didn't attack Teacher first, the Teacher would have 4 health after Shadow Madness, meaning it would kill Minibot and survive, then return to the Paladin's control at the end of turn.

dear trump im not that big of a fan of cabal shadow priest because i find that i never have a chance to take control of an enemy minion. Also when i do get to take a minion you have to wait a turn to use it. I feel like cabal is just to slow and conditional.

Its good if you combo it with shrink Miester to get a better minion, also it isn't a bad minion on its own so it works out ok. And although its condition when it works... It REALLY works and can swing the game in your direction after falling behind

ya but when you use shrink miester with cabal it costs 8 mana. Making it even slower.Also a six mana 4 attack 5 health card isnt that good and a bit to much of a late game minion. But that's just what i think.

elbrando was here I think it all comes down to personal preference, if you already have a strong position on the board, it can help to make it even stronger and to cripple any chance your opponent had at making a come back. But i agree it isn't very good on an empty board.

+Fabi An He's not really going for a set list. He's just using the best of what he opens in packs, with a few value cards crafted. The end list for this type of deck would probably look similar to the older control priest being run a lot before priests started using the dragons.

For a complete circle priest deck try google Zetalot tgt deck since he has 4000+ wins on priest and is top 20 legend right now. Keep in mind he changes his deck a lot

goodness all of those paladins must have came straight from playing face hunter cause they heard secret paladin was good, almost every game they used a true silver charge to the face when trump still had 23-25+ health, its so bad it makes me angry, they are obviously losing board control so save that charge for the board!! dumb noob hunters in disguise.

ya but that's what u do with true silver in aggro pally. it's a one of the best weapon in the game that fits in every type of pally
