They really need to change to Tutorial. There's so many more mechanics and such that they need to explain. And the basic set needs a boost as well. I honestly think that TGT packs are better for new players. There's a lot of upgrades to basic cards and big beefy vanilla creatures that are definitely playable.

+Corsair Joshua Definitely agree, once you get a few commons like the pilotted shredder from GvG TGT has a LOT of really great common cards as well, probably more so than other packs.

+Corsair Joshua Yes it has upgrades to basic cards but I'd still rather play Shattered Sun than Ice Rager and rather play Senjin than Evil Heckler. Pit fighter is kind of nice but it dies to Piloted Shredder.

+Corsair Joshua I agree with the fact that the tutorial needs an update but TGT packs aren't nearly as good as basic packs. Most decks for now have around 5 TGT cards if not less (I main rogue and I've got 2 cards from TGT as a test but I think I'll throw them out). From GvG you need shredders and if lucky Boom. Everything else you need is in basic packs. TGT is a gimmick expansion (who uses joust ? who uses a pure inspire deck ?), around 90% of the cards are useless if you want to play to win. And worst of all, the useful cards coming from TGT are in more than half of the decks epics ; if you're a F2P player you won't give up your 100 gold to get a TGT pack to have a 5% chance to get an epic, you'll want to buy a basic pack to get useful commons and rares And what kind of upgrades are you talking about ? Ice rager because it's a 2/5 instead of being a 1/5 which should be the opposite of magma rager ? I really quickly went through the collection and I can't see a single card which is a real upgrade from another one.

Maybe I am a little bitter because I never open good cards from booster packs, but I find Adventures to be better value overall. Maybe not all wings, but for example the first BRM wing gives Emperor Thaurissan and Quickshot for 700g, which I find reasonable depending on the circumstances. It also gives Grim Patron, but that would lack quite the support I understand. Likewise the first two wings of Naxx give Loatheb, Haunted Creeper, Nerubian Egg, Duplicate and most importantly Sludge Belcher! This has to be better value than 14 packs... The Sludge Belchers alone...

the first actual quest I even got was the 100 gold quest so I don't think it starts you off with just the 40 gold quests but it may be a higher percentage of getting them but who knows
