if you do start, try to look for a very active guild, that does all the content(though not necessarily mythic raiding) and maybe some quirky events like raffles or miscellaneous contests(fashion, jokes, 1v1pvp,etc). too many guilds have lazy people who don't take initiative to have fun, and they forget that mmorpgs only meet you half way. Without active people who make an effort to indulge in and create group activities, the game gets old super fast unlike HS.

For the Skeleton Knight the in game mob clearly says The Black Knight.

Xantamn Black Knight and Skeleton Knight are actually the same "person". The Black Knight transforms into the Skeleton Knight in the second phase of fighting him. The naming doesn't change tho, which still makes him appear as "The Black Knight"

SuzakuX and his entire "gimmick" is the same as the Black Knight from Monty Python. The guy who is like "It's just a flesh wound" when his limbs are chopped off. The WoW Black Knight goes something like "This flesh just weighed me down!" when he dies and comes back as a Skeleton and he's got a similar quote when he becomes a ghost :)

I don't play WoW, but I have some basic knowledge about it so could someone please clarify this for me? Vol'jin, from what I understand is the Warchief of the Horde and Varian Wrynn is Anduin's father. So why is Varian a card for Warrior in hearthstone and Vol'jin for Priest? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

+ThaScout While the heroes in hearthstone are mostly from either horde or alliance, that doesn't mean their cards are tied to that faction. Garrosh is a warrior of the horde, while Varian is a warrior of the alliance. True, it feels weird to have Garrosh call Varian for aid, but it's more about the class than the faction. However, I get a bit more frustrated with Vol'jin, who in WoW is considered a shadow hunter, a sort of mix between shaman (he uses totems) hunter (Uses a bow) and other more individual elements, while having very little affiliation to many priest abilities.

It is perfectly fine for Vol'Jin to be a priest card. The shadow hunters are basically vodoo priests, both masters at healing and cursing, much like priest in Hearstone and Wow (with the powers of light and shadow).

ThaScout when World of Warcraft was released, there WERE class restrictions. For example, you couldn't be hordish paladin. So your statement is half-true. Now, there are no fraction class restrictions. However, there are some for different races. For example, you can't be undead paladin(but they have priests o_0). Btw, Garrosh is a douche. He betrayed the Horde, and later, was killed by Thrall. Justice! P.S. Now the Sylvanas is the Horde warchief and the Anduin, Varian's son is Alliance warchief. Crazy times.

old gods are an alternative reality, In WoW they don't break out of their prisons but in the Old Gods whispers expansion they do. But there are some cards which are in WoW C'thun was a Vanilla boss in the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj. Yogg-Saron was the last boss in Ulduar during WotLK ( Wrath of the Lick King ). Y'shaarj was killed by the titans eons ago, ripped from Azeroth but left great damage to the planet, The remaints of Y'shaarj is the Sha and it's heart in Pandaria which Garrosh used during MoP ( Mists of Pandaria ) in Siege of Orgrimmar. N'zoth isn't currently in game, but he may have an important role in the next expansion. Cultists of the Twilight hammer ( Cards which give stats to your C'thun ) is a cult which was led by Cho'Gall wielder of the Twilight Hammer ( A Hammer )

+Chayton Carle well the game is 12 years old now, and they are constantly making new content and expansions which always look better than the last with lots of new models, they just don't always go back and apply those models to older content. and personally i'd rather quality content (i.e raid encounters, quests, dungeons, etc) over pretty visuals. Don't get me wrong though, i love it when they do make pretty stuff it just doesn't seem as important
