Pretty sure Nefarian was the only card to insure Kripp's win, which was a 1 in 463 chance. He then needed Sacrificial Pact which has a 1 in 18 chance. Thats what I call luck boys.

Peter Maynard Nope, it's a bit more complicated than that. First, we have to calculate the chance of NOT getting sp in the first draw, times chance of not getting sp in the second draw. The chance is obviously 17/18. We just put it to the power of two, so we get 289/324. This is the chance of NOT getting sp, so the rest is obviously the result we are looking for. The chance of getting sp from Nef is exactly 35/324, or approximately 0.108, which is a bit less than 2/18 or 0.111. The difference is caused by the extreme case of getting two sps, which would by your logic count as two cases of getting sp, while it is actually only one. So the series of events is, +LegitPensil, 35/150012, or 0.00023. Trust me, I have a picture of rubiks cube as my profile picture.

llamiie Nefarian has nothing to do with the cards that were played. It just states you get 2 spells "from your opponent's class". Which in this case is hunter. But the coding is just wrong. Jaraxxus is tied to Warlock which is not right.

It's not a bug. If you play a lot of cards before hitting "end turn", the game still needs time to play those cards and ends up "eating" your opponent's time. It's well known.

It is a bug. It is not, nor has it ever been an intended feature to eat away your opponent's entire turn with animation time. Just poor coding and major oversights.

argottobob Well, I've been using it ever since it came out. You can do the same with yogg. Instantly pass your turn and cast a lot of spells. You may miss a charging lethal, but if you have 20-30 spells, there are good chances to pass the opponent turn. I mean, a lot of people are aware of this, even Ben Brode. They would have fixed it by now.

I'm pretty sure the Nozdormu bug happens when you que actions right before time runs out, like with some legendaries with long animations and all that crap. Then those actions drags on after your turn is over and steals time from the other players turn - leaving one player without a second to do anything. You could see how things were still going on with that hunter after his turn supposedly ended. Also, nice comback :)

there are 462 creatures in hearthstone, and there are 18 spells to a warlock (correct me if im wrong) the chance of this happening given the portal in hand is (1/462)*(3/324)= *0.00002004168* about 2 time for every 10,000 attempts. or 1 for every 5000 attempts. going into some guess work.. multiplying again by 0.75 for an estimated chance of drawing the portal we find that the chance to draw a portal and commit the rest of this insanity all together is around 0.00001503126 given that 0.75 is not an accurate estimate.

Rydar I am confused, thinking about it more in depth I think we are both wrong lets think about it step by step, let me know on what step do u think I made an error a. when casting the dragon the game rolls two random numbers between 1-18 for each warlock card b.the chance for getting Sacrificial Pact in the first roll is 1/18 c. the chance of getting Sacrificial Pact in the second roll is 1/18 d. the sum of both of those chances is 2/18 might be more intuitive to think about it in smaller numbers then 18, lets imagine a world where warlock has only 4 spell cards (a.b.c.d) our options are: aa bb cc dd ab ac ad bc bd cd so we find that the chance pf getting at least on a. is 4/10 wrong by my method which gets us 1/4+1/4=1/2 and also wrong by what I understand is your method which give us 2/16

Using stats from Hearthstone Wiki - Unstable Portal -> Jaraxxus = 1/362 Unstable Portal -> Nefarian = 1/362 Nefarian Spells -> Sacrificial Pact = 1/18 + 1/18 (two spells, two chances) = 2/18 = 1/9 Chances of that exact situation happening were 1/362 * 1/362 * 1/9 = 1/1,179,396. Not to mention, that exact situation was his ONLY win condition at his last turn. Pretty rikrippulous if you ask me.

You can get 7 and 5, 18 and 18, any combination of two numbers. Lets say Pact is number 1 on the dice. What is the chance of rolling at least one 1? Of course, it's equal to the probability that we don't get at least one 1, subtracted from 1. For each dice, the chance of rolling anything but 1 is 17/18. We have two dice. So we multiply 17/18 by 17/18, which is 289/324. Subtract that from 1, and we get 35/324. That's the chance that we roll at least one 1. And it's the chance Nefarian pulls at least 1 Sacrificial Pact. P.S. I'm a math nerd, so sorry for nitpicking. But you can bet there are players out there who care about card mechanics.

Got my 50th win for this brawl just a few hours ago. Really enjoyed it this time around as I got to see cards and combos that I don't normally get to see or do because I've played the same deck from day 1 pretty much. Maybe only lost 1 in 5. As for this game, what a game! I've seen some pretty wild stuff! I took out a rogue earlier, 21 damage lethal while I was sitting on just 2 HP. I don't quite remember how I did it now. The salt is real too. Often get players adding me straight after a match to complain about how "lucky" I was.
