At some point various branches of the family owned Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Italy. Also parts of France. The rest of Europe felt threatened by them (for good reason, of course), and this led to various wars. On this level of detail the Habsburgs didn't have to be included, but it made sense as it's something a lot of people learned a lot about in school.

After 7 years from when I found this video I've gone on to study world history classes, AP US and British history, Biology, AP chemistry, Prehistoric-14th century art history in college and soon 14th to present art history... and I am proud to say that the more I learn, the more accurate and hilarious this video gets.
