Well, the only reason is that warlock had almost no removals at all and got Blastcrystal postion, felfire potion and Abyssal enforcer in one expansion and you get to draft even more of them since they came out in the latatest expansion.

Let me do the math for you guys: Mulligan: 2x(1/29 +1/28+1/27)+1/26 = 0,2529 so the chance of drawing a specific card on your opening hand while going first (in this case zombie chow) is about 25% Now, to calculate how the chances were for kripp to not draw zombie chow in 15 games, we need the statistik formula of poisson ; P(x=k)= µ^k*e^-µ/k! Thats how we calculate the right µ : 0,2529*15 = 3,79 now we use the formula: P(x=0)= 3,79^0*e^-3,79/0! =0,02596 => the chance of not drawing zombie chow is about 2,5% when you always go first, so the real chance is about 2% Thank you now go on with your life

I'm probably too late for your statistic exam, but in case I'm not, it's better to practice more your math is way off here. There's no explanation so I have no idea of knowing where you got those numbers. At the very beginning 3 cards in hand, 27 at library. Probability any given card is in hand is 3/(3+27)=1/10, probability that it's in the library is 27/(3+27)=9/10. Iff we don't have that card in our hand we can shuffle our hand back in and draw 4 new cards for our first turn, in that case probability that we draw given card is in hand is 4/(26+4)=4/30 and probability for it being in our library is 26/(26+4)=26/30. So if we want single card from 30 card deck to our hand on turn 1 on the play and we hardmulligan for it, our chances to get it are: 1/10+9/10*4/30=1/10+12/100=0,22

Iff we don't draw given card in our initial 3 and mulligan everything our chances to draw given card in the new 3 is 3/27=1/9 and if we don't draw it in those 3 our chances to draw it for our first turn is 1/27 so to put all this together, with hardmulligan our total chances are 1/10+9/10(1/9+8/9*1/27)=1/10+9/10(1/9+8/243)=1/10+9/10(35/243)=1/10+315/2430=558/2430=31/135

Assuming you see 6 cards in every opening hand, you have 20% to draw the Chow each game. Over 14 games it is slightly above 4% chance of not seeing him once. 4% looks like very little, but you play arena a lot. If you played 1 arena every day it would happen about once a month.
