What I like about Even Warlock is it gives you a fighting chance against every other archetype. Even if the game drags on with a Mechathun priest or a Shudderwock Shaman, you can turn the game around at the end with a well-timed Demonic Project. And with all the board clearing you can keep up with Rogues and Zoolocks, as well as clear huge Druid boards. I don't think it's the strongest, but it's versatile.

Have you played Toast's Maly Rogue? It's really fun and I've already gotten to rank 2 with it. It's a really hard deck to play against aggro but once you're against control you basically just win

Honestly I feel druid isn't that bad a matchup for odd rogue. Just keep 2-3 minions on the board, make them big, and just hope they don't Branching Paths into armor lol. I decided to get back on the odd rogue train. Every game feels like an uphill battle, but one that can be overcome regardless of matchup.

You can probably get by without floop, but it's nice to make a bigger saronite chain gang, have another giggling inventor, or tempo out an extra arcane tyrant

Appreciating your vids for a while; thought I'd offer some feedback 1. I agree popularity_stats rightfully prejudice our mulligan_decisions (i.e. to mull for zoo over evenlock is usually correct), HOWEVER I posit this logic is easier to exploit now than ever. Choosing the less-played archetypes of classes like Shaman/Warlock/Mage/Rogue seems like such an easy advantage, as well as it keeps the deck diversity up - more people should try it. 2. As a fellow aficionado of hipster decks, I consider you might not be giving them enough earnest attention (and affection) lately. The reason I'm writing this whole thing is: I got mad at your conclusion that people should "stay away" from RezPriest because of its below-average winrate. Firstly, it's the NEWEST kid on the block - ppl are still learning how to pilot it. Secondly, COME OON - let's make priest great again!D 3. Your advice that people should "play decks with more green" is.. not the best advice. The value of the table is not in the data snapshot itself, but rather in how that map changes over time - Changes that (we have to assume) owe to players' improving awareness & skill, or better tech-choices. Look at Odd Pala - it was the most popular deck on ladder but now everyone knows how to play against it. Also, the pros have moved on to better decks and the dust-poor masses slowly follow them. 4. Main Takeaway: "Follow the evolution". That's what I "hired" you for, anyway ;) Help me and others understand what makes a deck's matchups better/worse/winnable, don't just throw stats and make obvious assumptions - everyone already does that and ends up with a "Rock-paper-scissors"/Net-decking mentality that doesn't do justice to the peak potential for diversity that this current meta has to offer. Embrace the off-meta - do better and have more fun and then do better again. That's how I climbed to Legend for the first time last month. Thanks for reading! ttyl.)

nice vid man, gotta check on u more. but as an old hearthstone player, i play since black mountain expansion and had almost all card on every expansion. by now, i do understand that hearthstone is game the most stupied game i played and still playing, why its stupied?? coz win or lose doesnt depend on your deck, any card have counter, your deck can be fill with only 1 card cost card and u can still win. (i do this so many times, i can even get winning streak with this deck) Win or lose in this game is depend only from SERVER, not RANDOM or RNG (people who think this game is RANDOM is clearly never play this game). The more you play your chance to win is getting lower, the less u play your chance of win is higher, try it stop playing for 3 days, when u play u win get WIN so easy. This game is mean to casual, dont be invested on anything as its not gonna make your deck stronger, any deck is same, even stupied deck is just the same.

Man i'm not sure what I'm doing wrong on Even Shaman. I just get shit on by everyone lately. I used to win the vast majority of my games and almost got to legend befofe I stopped playing for awhile. Now I'm rank 15 and I'm just getting rolled game after game.
