UnknownSoldier IMO, if you're going to run a cthun warrior and you add the bolster-king combo you're only making the deck weaker overall to give a marginalized advantage against aggro. I would say trumps version with a tempo list favoring slightly sub par cards with a chance to combo is the best way to use this card combination.

I just finished watching the Kripp video about this particular deck which he put the Protect bolster combo in c'thun Warrior. It didn't seem as good as the decklist Trumpo is playing. On the other hand the deck is weak to strong board-clears. I also don't agree that this deck will be too amazing but it's probably meta changing at least.

I see why Trump likes this deck. It is quite similiar to his old Midrange paladin with muster and Quatermaster. Same as there you can pump up bunch of 3/3 tokens quite early in game and rest of deck is composed of solid value cards and bit of carddraw. This warrior is very close copy of that old deck in playstyle

For those without varian, you could probably put in y'shaarj as a lesser quality alternative. Also, the corrupted hogger is pretty good here as well. It's hard for people to deal with a 6/6 that spawns taunts. It's really close to sledge belcher, but for more mana & sometimes a lot better. I think what's making the deck work has to do with the flaws of the old bolster warrior--that being people are just going to outtrade you and you'll never build up enough of a board to use bolster effectively if you aren't winning from the start. Now you have this card where if you start to fall behind you can instantly rush back into the game with a wall of 3/3. That, and the meta is pretty good for an anti-aggro deck. I like this deck. I think it's great for the meta. Beats aggro loses to control. Just what we needed to put control back in the meta.

I replaced Varian and Hogger with Armorsmith and Yogg-Saron. Impressive results. Armorsmith can protect also against C'Thun if you have a board. Yogg may come as finisher or board-clear with the amount of spells in this deck it proved to be very useful.

Wemix Sounds I actually pulled yogg in my first few packs when WOG first came out. I have a free to play account that I started upon the game's release and over the years i've gotten most of the useful legendaries. The only generally played legendaries i'm missing right now are Gromash, Jaraxus, ysera,and the black knight along with some other class legendaries from other sets that aren't really as relevant.

You do have activators for it so it can, but I think vanilla Hogger works better because you don't have to damage him to get the taunts out, just keep him alive.

I made a similar deck and wouldnt choose hogger. I'd say gromm is, as always, freakin fantastic. Just a solid card on its own and he makes varian even stronger. Hogger isn't really working too well in this deck. Rewatch this video and imagine hogger being gromm. I barely think hogger was the better option once.

Liking how this meta is changing, everyone complains about zoo being s unbeatable but this deck appears to being performing well against agro and this new bog creeper shaman has been performing incredibly well for me against agro. I have like a 90% win rate vs midrange hunter, haven't lost to yogg n' load, like an 80% win rate vs zoo and a 70% rate vs agro shaman. As much as people complain about control being 'bad' I've been having a lot of success with it
