At 40:12 he could have used the earthen ring ability on the enemy and hero ability to kill the lord of the arena instead of killing auchenai soulpriest. He still won, still it was more value.

Played around flamestrike, the mage pinged the golem, indicating FS. Sort of an "anti value" play if you let him FS more of your stuff, thus sacrificing the soulpriest causes the FS to gain less value. to quote trump, "the benefit of not playing (insert card here), is that you have a (insert card here)!"

It's the kind of mistake that happens because the murloc is a minion that is very expendable, and the opponent has an axe so he kills it anyways. So yeh it was a misplay, but one that doesn't matter (maybe in a different game it would matter).

Chris Prugh Saves the murloc (albeit temporarily). It could have mattered.

mattimos Yeah I guess, but he would have run one of the stormwind knights into it, and there is merit in playing around a buffed lightning storm, as unlikely as it is. But, I agree, he could have saved the murloc. He was so far ahead though, he probably didn't even think about it (although he definitely would in a tighter game).

this is why priest doesnt necessarily need a buff. its totally viable still in arena. just in constructed it gets crushed. if they buffed priest to suit constructed, it would probably become op in arena.

the only change to shaddow form that i have noticed is that the turn that u use it to go into shaddow form you should be able to do the 2 dmg that turn for no mana that would speed up the card.

The 2 dmg for 2 mana at will is incredibly strong as is. It requires a counterbalance; it has one.

Maybe if the card cost 4 mana. But then the QQ train would force blizz to nerf it to 5 mana, basically bringing us to the same spot. Right now you can heal and then go shadowform for 5 mana or you can shadowform and deal 2 damage, that choice is adding to the game's depth. I think mind blast should get additional damage when cast from shadowform, because being a glorified sinister strike is plain bad.

No, why would it? You're not healing anything, so the Priest would do nothing.

TheAlmightyVox hmm let me see coz the Auchenai Soulpries states your cards and "powers" that "restore health" now deals damage instead. And i Assume hero power is some kind of power and when it healed it would then do opposite? :-)

The ideal plan with priest decks is to play high health minions and keep healing them while board clearing. So having good 4-5-6 mana cards is crucial to succeed with priests, and trump got them here (with some help in the early game thx to rng drafts)
