IDK why he surrendered that game at 30:00 against the mage. He had a taunt in hand and 2 highmanes in his deck. If the mage drew badly for 2 turns he probably would have won. It's not like playing core hound and arcane shot wouldn't catch him up the next turn.

SPOILERS Yeah well thats kind of my arena experience since the patch. It seems the average deck is really powerful and you get HARD punished for missing a drop and not playing on curve... So even with really powerful deck, its just all about drawing your 1, 2, 3 and 4... And if you dont, you are going to get bent over

Any chance you will do a trum teachings for arena? Maybe go over drafting process a bit more in depth. I offten see you drawing cards instantaneously while I would pick others and I don't understand whats your reasoning.:) keep it up. Thanks!

That was def not a crazy deck, he didn't lose tempo, won some RNG (Acidmaw was a huge turn-around), and Trump was out of cards, so he won, pretty common for a arena win.

The sad conclusion is that there's still no reason to run other decks than Mage and Rogue. At least from 5-6 wins on you still stop facing other classes. For a reason I think.

There's just way too much variation, in the inherent RNG as well as your opponent selection, that can knock you out in no time. I'm not even saying I want to get more WINS - I just want to be able to play the dang deck a few more times after I went to all that trouble to put it together!

With the Karazhan bonuses it's actually not too crazy to draft. Just always pick dragons since you know you have high odds of getting Templar, and also Zoobots and other dragon synergy cards.

Trump gives up to early, with a considerate amount of hp left he shouldnt be afraid when he's way behind on the board or by hand. He never considers the player playing, he just thinks of "I know whats in my deck and nothing will save me, so ill give up on 25 hp" Did he forgot that some players havent mastered the art of when to go face? he keeps expecting the best out of them when in reality if he just gets strong draws they might waste a lot just for "board control". Ive seen a lot of Kripps plays and he never gives up cus he knows there is a chance his opponents might make wrong plays, helping him catch up easily

The paladin had 1 mana left but didn't play a secret, therefore he didn't have one in hand. Now the Volcanic Drake potentially kills the Huntress, and your Panther cannot kill something and stay on the board.

How is this an insanely good deck? It's meant to go face but no reliable card draw, hence no come back mechanism. Some games are played in a board control manner but obviously this deck will not win late game, despite the Rag. This is just a weird deck, tempo wise.

I dunno, Trumpy. I think you really overestimated this deck's strength. You had WAY too many 2-drops (how many times did you draw one late game and get screwed?), heavily RNG-reliant refueling/draw (Ball of Spiders), and you passed up the one clear/catchup possibility you drafted: Explosive Trap. Granted, the RNG was real and your opponents (wtf pure dragon paladin) were strong. But still. I'd never guess 12 for this deck.
