Yes, it would. Coin Potion of Madness turn 5 would have been a bit of a recovery too but both of these misplays cost him the game. It happens to the best of us after all, we're only human!

I'm wondering if he could've put potion of madness to use earlier. If he coin PoM on turn 3 with the tar creeper and then throws the Imp Master into the Mad Bomber, he gets an Imp that threatens a trade with the Bomber and the creeper survives on board while keeping the Imp count low for stoneshaper the next turn.

Yea, as the card says "at the end of your turn", and you give the card back After your turn. So it's basically 1 mana deal 2 get 1/1 minion
