So just have, in brackets "Does not count as a spell"? Would probably make it a lot more fun, yeah. As it is, it's... Warrior Renounce Darkness, with the downside of having to pay 1 MORE for every card. Alternatively, they could just make discovered cards cost 1 less. Iunno, though.

it's better than Renounce Darkness in the sense that you get to discover instead of just having the cards in your deck. Discover is pretty flexible, unlike random cards

I actually think that the card is a very cool design... It's like a last minute safeguard that you only pop when you're out of shit... It fit in kinda great with deck that have alot of situation card to control again every class that you can cash out at the last moment for new card...

The way to make Explore Un'Goro playable but not abusively strong is very simple... add "That card costs (1) less mana." It prevents any kind of crazy abuse of 0 mana spells but means the discovered cards aren't automatically 1 mana more expensive.

I do not understand why Priest got this quest. Priest does not lose from trying to heal back up when they are really low. They lose when they are at full health and run out of plays... So big freaking woop if youre playing priest and you get 10 extra health and an 8:8 that gets hexed or whatever. Warlock should have gotten a quest similar to Priest.. instead.

Elemental dragon priest is one of the most fun decks in the game right now. You put like 6-8 dragons in, you put the good elementals, and a bunch of cheap spells. You don't even need any significant card draw. The deck restocks itself. Also on Lyra, it's not as bad as you think. It's similar to fandral in the fact that you absolutely need to kill it asap or you're in trouble. It costs 1 more mana, counts as an elemental, and arguably gives you more value on average than fandral does if you can get off 2 other cards with it.

If you really are interested in playing differeny decks, Trump, I'm sure your expertise would greatly improve my attempts with awaken the makers earlier. The first idea was to omly us4 corrupt3 healbot, and the 7 maja guy thsy summons murlocs, as my deathrattles, while relying on mirage caller, barnea, rez and n'zoth to complete the quest. Eventially I rempved potion of madness for abomination This deck was 2 for 2 on casual. The 2nd idea was much more fun. The most expensive cards were onyx bishpp and elise. Other than than thlse the deck was build around deathrattle that either generated more minions, like the 3/1 raptor, or the spawn of n'zoth. I didn't use any card copy minions because the result could have been too unprectable for this deck. I found the best targete for mirage caller were either the spawm, a loot hoarder, and most exciting of,all, a knkfe jihhler. Like rez, for those that don't kmow, 1/1s create ny mirage cam be sil enced.

my favorite shadow visions deck is a velen deck. 2 mind blast, 2 holy fire, 2 visions, no other spells, velen, 2 mirage callers, and minion filler cards. that seems fun. Maybe glimmer root, oracle, etc. I like the idea of this deck and thought of it when they revealed shadow visions

You keep saying you can get Drakonid Operative, but that's only true in the mirror, and only if they're playing specifically dragon priest too. It discovers a card from your opponent's deck, not from your deck or random priest card. I don't know if you were just talking about the mirror match, or if you were mixing your thoughts about Drak OP with Netherspite Historian

Why does trump not play Dirty Rat? Its a great 2 mana card with taunt, and can pull out a rogue's Novice Engineer or Swashburgler and kill it before your opponent can bounce it back into their hand. It also can pull out a brewmaster or ferryman, making a rogue's life miserable. You can also pull an Elise the Trailblazer before your opponent play it with battlecry. Also Dirty Rat can possibly pull a Queen Carnassa, (Yes, I know that's hard).

Because though Dirty rat can work in some cases, for example the rogue, hunter, and warrior class, it can also help the opponents. For example, the quests that say "summon" means the card that is specified has to make it onto the field. It does not require a "play". Dirty rat takes the card from the opponents hand and ends up "Summoning" it, which counts for those quests. Because of that I feel it is to risky to play dirty rat for that reason. Especially if you dont have any hard removal options available at the time.

hi guys do u think my math is correct: if u put 8 one cost minions in ur deck, what is the chance to draw one in turn 1: (8/30 + 8/29 + 8/28 + 8/27 + 8/26 + 8/25 + 8/27) / 7 = 0.2926 = 29.26% the last draw is correct to be 8/27 because the natural draw account after u shuffled ur mulligan card in ur deck

Not how probability works. Your chance of getting at least one 1-drop assuming you hard mulligan for it and you go first (giving you up to 7 chances to draw it, as I think you've already recognized) is 100%-(22/30)*(21/29)* ... *(16/24) = 91.6%. EDIT: Slightly wrong. See below, should be 91.2%.

Trump totally misunderstood the value of shadow visions. You can put aside the 2-mana cost to play a spell you discover for a moment. It allows you to discover the spell you want, when you need it. That is INVALUABLE. There are also plenty of turns where Priest heals face, and 2 mana discover a COPY of a relevant card for the board state or matchup is ridiculously good. Imagine if your hero power was "2 mana discover a copy of a spell from your deck." It would be insane. This is essentially that, except it cycles a card.

Current Dragon Priest gets insane value because the Dragon pool is so small, but you really need Dirty Rat + RNGJesus to stop the Rogue/Mage Quests. And I just don't think it stands any chance without a huge amount of luck vs Quest Warrior. The Quest Priest deck is utter garbage that gets carried only by replicating Dinosaur Eggs, so you may as well play Dragons.
