I used Faceless instead of Wickerflame. It's great to get an extra Tirion, Lightlord, or steal something from an opponent. Lay on Hands or an extra Forbidden Healing could work too if you also need a replacement.

Room can be made by dropping pain, doomsayers, and forbidden healing. Also 1 steed works fine too but that's just more of a preference. One LOH works just as well as healing and pains. Given LOH's cost it won't be played outside of control matchups , while pain favors aggro matchups . Which Dirty Rat is just better than pain in both matchups

Austin Williander it's the deck archetype generally speaking. A midrange deck shines the best in the middle(mid) of the game. But is sometimes weak to aggro, or very long drawn out control games. Control try's to usually play a long game and starve off the opponent of resources and win with control over the board. Aggro is an aggressive deck that try's to win fast before other decks can get set up

Aggro decks want to play quickly and kill their opponents by overwhelming them with threats Control decks tend to focus on answering their opponents threats and winning late with a low number of game winning threats Aggro-Control decks play an aggro game early, and then late game switch to answering opposing threats and protecting the creatures that they already have. Midrange is basically the opposite of aggro control where it starts the game answering their opponents threats and then plays a mid-sized number of card efficient and hard to answer late game threats and grind out the opponent thanks to slowing down aggro with removal early, and overtaxing a control player's removal with efficient threats/dodging it with hard to answer threats.

People are all like "Woah control paladin is a cool new thing!". I've been playing control paladin since I first used the fucking class. No legendary cards, or any cards but the basic ones. It has always worked and always will. The class is designed to have board presence and control. The big giveaway is the hero power summons minions, which would promote the player trying to control the board with the aid of the hero power.

I've been playing control Paladin for the whole expansion, albeit with a rather different list (no drakes but Ysera, 2 Dirty Rats and Ivory Knight). All in all, I absolutely crush Quest Rogue, which is why I don't get why other C-Paladins don't add Dirty Rat. You can also easily clear against Taunt Warrior with Eq-Pyro/Cons. You absolutely demolish all aggro match-ups and let's not even talk about Face-Mage (though it is kind of funny how you heal all their damage and can win at any time with Eye for an Eye). Jade Druid...yeah well, that's bad, but honestly, I haven't run into more than two in Europe two times to legendary. Btw: Shocking misplay at 9:30. Not going for the second taunt can easily be the game here. Rag only heals for 3, but Rogue has already 15 damage for face on board if he tanks the Tirion with the dagger. 15 Damage with 4 cards (and he has a Boar on hand, which we know) isn't hard to do for Quest Rogue). Lucky for Trump that he's playing against the Vodoo Doctor crap.
