+I Say I do believe that hearthstone has a hidden matchmaking rating, that somehow matches players according to if they have unlocked expansions or not. Ever since i bought naxxramus I have faced plenty of decks with other adventures unlocked, whereas I was mostly playing with people without more than an Emperor thaurissan or similar. Don't think that F2P/new players will face Reno too much

Darren Goh I guess that's kinda true. I don't seem to face players with basic cards any more, like Yeti, ogre etc. Otherwise it's extremely unfair for new players. They have to deal with OP cards like Boom, Tyrion, Jarraxus etc. and now Reno? Insane if there's no hidden matchmaking.

The richest Reno possible would be a board where your opponent has 7 Shadowboxers and you have Brann Bronzebeard. The Shadowboxers damage your hero for 7, then he heals you back up to 30 again and all of their pings hit your minion the second time. That's 36 health gained.

+Sagara Sousuke Dr. Boom can be put into any deck - that's why it's a problem. You need to design a deck for Reno to work. So it will never be as popular for one, and even if it is it requires you to shape the deck to make it work.

+Brendan Beckett Reno does have a *potential* problem though: A Reno deck is saying "Either you need to do so much damage that Reno doesn't matter, or you need to have such a great late game you can outlast me." If the meta eventually falls into a place where Reno decks remain popular they have a potential to kill off anything in between those two extremes, forcing the meta into two archetypes: Super aggressive decks and super control decks. There's also a potential problem with future expansions: If Reno remains prevalent in the meta, then it will be one of the "cards to beat" for any new cards to be considered playable. Ie. "Can this new tempo tool beat Reno? No? Then it's crap."

Man, I've been playing midrange paladin on and off since the beta, and secret paladin has just ruined the class for me, it's so cancerous that even though this guy was midrange I still felt a hatred for him just because of the 90% of paladins that are playing secret or hyper aggro. I don't even feel like playing the class myself anymore.

+eric jiga Secret paladin has ruined the whole ranked game for me personally, I basically play as little as possible to hit rank 5 (for the golden epic) and then only play vs friends or in tavern brawls the rest of the time. It's not really even the secrets/ MC that are the problem it's the fact that you can whack them with any of paladin's other OP cards and still end up with a tier 1 deck; I think possibly the class as a whole could do with a few changes. +Алексей Быков He played like aggro because that's what the board/ matchup dictated he should play. Had Kibler not had the Reno he would have won easily so it was the right line of play (since he had no reason to assume Kibler had Reno in hand or even in his deck at all).

At turn 6 pretty much the only life gain control warriors have (which are probably the most common type of warrior right now) is their hero power and shield block and neither of those sufficiently deal with the board. Reno was basically the only card that could save him and since it's not a card you'd keep in the mulligan vs paladin the odds of him having it, even he runs it, are very slim. He pushed damage because he had nothing else to respond to from Kibler. The only play that was slightly risky was owling the sludge instead of trading but with your opponent at such low health and so few good silence targets in warrior decks that made perfect sense.

I just got into it and tried to watch some to get tips or learn a few things but they're either raging cuz someones strategy beat out their money deck or they just drift off into barely playing and talking to trolls in the chat box. Not only that but most of what you post is either hilarious, informative, or you show respect when you lose, i remember a vid when you went against a shadow priest and got stomped after h started getting going and you were just having fun the whole time. Actually healed for 39 that game, because of the Zombie Chows... and only thing better than a full value Reno, is playing Mage, getting an Iceblock proc, then next turn Reno Echo. And when they Kill Reno it procs your Dupe... So you have 3 Reno's in hand. It's fucking durty!

You have to craft them using dust. Once you've unlocked the cards, you are free to craft all the golden versions.

The only way having both Elise and Reno could backfire is if you also run Brann and have him out when Elise lands (since she'll then put 2 copies of the same card into your deck).

+Aloysius Tan There's not really any cards that do the same specific job as those 2. I would say the closest/ best cards would be maybe Rag and Sylvannas. Bouncing blade could maybe work as single target removal but obviously it will only work when there's only 1 minion on the entire board plus the fact paladin is so dominant will often make it useless.
