As a wild player I can say that this survival of the fittest control thing is way less reliable and terrifying than the otk version. The latter has clear win condition, and is even more reliable because only 1 key card and the rest can come from the numerous draw options. And no need to clear the nutty board of mech decks on turn 4 if your opponent is dead on turn 4

Ancient Reflections on Mecha-Shark is amazing. You deal 21 x 3 = 63 damage randomly split among all enemies. That's almost always going to be lethal.

Interesting also to remember that you can play Ancient Reflections on your OWN Mecha-Shark. So it's sort of a two card OTK with an unreliable setup (play Kazakusan, hope to find AR). You still get the 63 damage if you start by playing Shark and then copying it.

@@fuscello Illucia: gave your hand to the opponent too, so your opponent could use it and wasting the cards without expending 3 mana (on Illucia) first, and you had to be careful to not give them a win condition or lethal; only for 1 turn, not forever; she gave your deck to the opponent as well, so, if you had a important card in it, there was a risk. Also the mana cost doesn't matter because the effect was used normally in late game anyway. There a condition, yes, but there is no risk when is used, or a timer to use the stolen cards.

I was talking more about Wild, but even if Illucia was nerfed because Standard, that was more a problem about the stupid Shadow Priest design than Illucia itself. Although in my opinion, Illucia should not be nerfed in Wild, just in Standard, the excuse of being "confusing" is very stupid and one of the biggest lies that people keep repeating just because the lazy developers said it. (Sorry for my bad English if I wrote something with a bad grammar).

You know, HS could be a better game if every card had one resolve. Unlike sequential like on 6:50, they could all come out at once and not do stupid amount of damage just from one card... I was playing Spellweaver the other day - and my Jungle deathtrap destroyed 3 vamps from the effect. (text says: When one or more enemy creatures with level 2 or less enter the field, sacrifice jungle deathtrap and destroy those creatures) Notice the "or more" part - it's for when one card makes many tokens or summons many from the deck, like expensive spell Overwhelming Forces (text: Look at the top X cards of your deck. Where X is the greatest amount of creatures controlled by any hero. Put any number of creatures from among them onto the field) It was fun and we had a laugh about seeing it for the first time in global chat...

You know nothing about card design/interaction. See, I can also throw out generalisation like its nothing. You try to compare HS with your anecdotal experience. If you play card games, you should know the importance of sequence, the stack and whatnot. Why would HS be better if everything resolve all at once? And why specifically that? Do you even stop to think how would thing resolve at once? Calculation still need to be done, how would you go about it? Plus you're comparing 2 different things. It doesnt make any sense. In your anecdote, if one or more x, do z (z = destroy effect). Its not the same. Use your brain, please.

It's just a thought experiment anyway Sure, cards like shudderwock and "pile on" otk wouldn't exist in hs world if "one card - one effect" or rather "one animation" limitation was in place.
