I know its a popular opinion that Sterling should play in midfield but he should replace Tav permanently at right full back. i dont care about tavs goal return and its only got us 2nd place again. hes rotten and hes poor captain. time to go

Totally agree Lloyd, if Tavernier starts next weekend, Maeda will rip him apart again and cost us the game… He always was a poor defender with little positional awareness, but has regressed really badly with and without the ball, lost his energy/pace and his passing is awful… If Clement keeps Tav as captain and as a starter next season it will cost him his job… Sure we can find a much better captain and a guy to take penalties and free kicks… End of cycle, start with cup final, sell him in summer…

On a positive note McCausland has been excellent for the past two games and scored a wonder goal today. It seems like his time out the team has done wonders for him and allowed him to build back up his energy levels. Davies has played well too and even if Souttar was back next week I’d keep Davies in, hopefully alongside Balogun. The fullbacks are good offensively but both complete liabilities defensively. I really like Ridvan, but if we get a decent offer from him then sell cos we can’t afford to give away such easy goals at the back post every game. Hopefully Gerrard buys Tav. I thought the midfield was good today and we created a lot of chances. That’s the midfield that should start next week imo, and honestly dropping Tav for Sterling would be tempting too- but it’s never gonna happen. Hopefully a front three of McCausland, Dessers and Sima would cause them problems.

Why are you blaming ridvan for a cross that should never have happend? the goal was fully on tav, not one single player on the backline expected tav to lose his man so easily, hence why ridvan was caught out. Lundstrum needed dropped when he stopped trying, which he has done before. At times he didn't have the players for 4231 but like Beale refused to change. 6 end of contract, 3 out on loan, wright king Davies dowall Lawrence matondo who are always injured, then Tav Goldson. Hell of a job but also hell of an opportunity.

Work rate is central. Rangers players 9 times out of 10 wait for the ball while the opposition go get it. Run at our midfield/ defence, for years now, and they crumble

Rangers have zero chance in cup final next week with players available… Centre of defence is a bomb scare, Tavernier is huge liability against Maeda…Diamande, Raskin and Cantwell are too lightweight and lack physicality and presence in midfield to compete with their midfield 3… McCausland is young and enthusiastic, but he’s lightweight, Sima probably won’t start, Silva hasn’t shown anything versus them, and Dessers scores 1 in 6 chances - which he won’t get against them… Clement needs to change it up but with players available he’s on a hiding to nothing and he knows it… Time for massive clear out in summer starting with the captain and so called leadership…

It was a meaningless game and as for the Scottish Cup not fussed as they dont have the bottle for a fight its what happens over the summer that is what really matters but if Butland leaves and Tav and Goldson are still in the team then just give the league to celtic and show Hearts some respect because for 3 or 4 better players they might have finished at least 2nd this season

The s.c.f.a.are our biggest problem if we dont address whats in front of our eyes,same old shit from them next year,they are subduing dessers,same tactics they used on wee alfie,and also our playmakers,every season,same culprits,they do everything possible in thier power to keep us behind them,therefor keeping the pressure on us,time our club addressed this fully,we have no one talking our club up in media circles,the current media constantly focussing on our injury problems and weaknesses. Sportscene stop discussing major moments in the season and not showing proper replays of disallowed goals,sky not any better ,our p.r. is poor if we dont address any of this its same old,the manager nearly pulled it off but i feel sorry for tav luni goldson,they are worn down by it all,so will the next if we dont get a ruthless streak in all things that we do,cause we,re second in every department.
