I like when the marriage counselor said "if you want kindness you must give it to your partner" Those are words to live by in a relationship. Be bigger for one another and not get caught up in petty differences. "Do you want to be right or do you want to be married" The bottom line is whether things don't always make sense to us, we still do our absolute best to accommodate the people we love. What bothers and triggers the person you truly love, respect, and care about the way they feel will be of utmost concern to you. It's not about giving in but about giving up the need to control and to be right in every given situation. Not being quick to remind one another about our faults and being on a fact finding mission with timelines and receipts shows growth bc that can be hard to do, especially when we convince ourselves that we really mean well. Healthy compromise is ok. Love is work but not a competition, not even with who loves who the most. Hearts in Tune is a call to action to apply some of the principles of unconditional love and understanding to our everyday lives. Another amazing piece in Sam's insane body of work. Such a relative story for many couples. Falling in love, but can find it hard, to stay in love. Everything is all good in the beginning, but after the honeymoon phase is over, Can one meet the expectations of the other? People can be in love, but not compatible on everything. Waited to watch the full movie before commenting. Maurice Sam, is very versatile with his ability to act different roles. Yes falling in love is very easy but maintaining the relationship is very difficult. I like the way the movie ended. Lesson well learned.
